So you're the 1 out of ten I referred to above. Sorry, but it's naive to believe that that secret will never come out, just as it's naive to believe men will just abandon their families when opinion turns against them in favor of their former SP fiancee/wife. It all will inevitably turn very messy and lots of people will be caught in the crossfire. There maybe a contingent of pro-thinking men on TERB but they are certainly not representative of the widely held opposing viewpoints in general society. It's just the way it is still in 2023.

I wouldn't marry an SP in this life. I have in my previous life. Back then it was different. The reason been the Gov't didn't help much back then like it does now.
Also learn that if a (SP) woman's fate is to be single and enjoy what she can, she will either stay single or divorce. Chasing Syndrome.
No it's not and if that's the way your family and friends are in your life then I feel sorry for you.

I think you've mischaracterized my view, and however "outdated" you think that it is, it remains the norm (i.e. outside of TERB Land) and it always will be.

Interesting point. How do you think the conversation would go if a guy went to his current wife and told her he'd been a big hobbyist before they got married, but had stopped after the wedding? Do you think most women in that situation would be cool about it and just shrug it off as you've described above? How do you think her family and friends would react once she told them about it? No biggee, right?
I think there is still alot of hate for sex workers from society that would make marrying a sex worker difficult...escorting is not 100 per cent legal, in the court battle bill c 36 the government said they do not want Canada to be a country for prostituition and make it socially acceptable...to an extension people judge others for being sex workers and marrying sex workers.

What i've learned is that the overwhelming majority have deep seated issues.
None of which they brought on themselves I might add. There's reason they're doing what they do.

I have noticed anecdotally through working with teenage girls in the justice system that girls who do SP tend to have a higher frequency of mental health issues. specifically bpd.
Most sex workers are either single mothers or disabled mostly with mental illness. Disability benefits are inadequate it forces women that are disabled into sex work. It forces men that are disabled into MAID. This seems to be changing into could a man marry a mentally ill woman. Ableism...
