Worst Movie Ever - Firewalker

Firewalker (1986)

The only movie I have ever walked out of. Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr. Too bad because Louis Gossett Jr. ranks as one of the most respected African-American actors of stage, screen, and television.

Very interesting......

It is interesting to find so many good (and some great movies) in this list....like:

Moonstruck - My big fat greek wedding
Meet Joe Black - Forrest Gump (come on!!!!) Howards End, Woody Allen Movies (a genius!!!!) - The English Patient - Being John Malkovich - Magnolia - The thin red line - Risky Business - Yentl - Fame - Sound Of Music....and this is for Angel Aurora.....I don't believe in chick or guy flicks......more in some people appreciate movies because the non-stop mind-numbing action or fat jokes take them away from their day to day reality and some others want a story told in an either interesting, or intelligent or different manner......even fantasy, science-fiction or pure action stories can be told brillantly by talented directors and actors.....and even movies that seem slow like Howards End, The English Patient or some that rely mostly on incredibly brilliant dialogues like most W. Allen movies can be rivetting and extremely entertaining.....this is, of course, my humble opinion.

As far as the worst I ever saw....Anaconda comes to mind.....but in the past 20 years I've always tried to get some information before going to a movie theater or renting a movie. That has helped a lot.

any movie that has 1,2,3,4, or 5 after it (or the Roman equivalent). Come to think of it, Ben Hur wasn't up to much either.

I may have a new contender here...I haven't seen it yet, but my niece taped it for me. It's called, and I kid you not, "Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter". Will post a review once I've checked it out....

Between a rock and a hard place
Santa Clause vs. the Martians was so bad its cool. I force myself to watch it once in a while.
My kids keep playing Goodburger over and over and I just want to smash in the screen.
Freddy vs. Jason was a big disappointment. They make these movies with overly mature content and write scripts for kids.
Godzilla 2000 was a pointless piece of crap - but I give the director credit for trying to revive a classic. Still he should have known you can only imitate not duplicate the old B-movie formula.
Loved Rowan Atkinson in Bean but hated Johnny English.
Dusk til Dawn II - Texas Blood Money was horrible as are most sequels like Bad Boys 2, Jeepers Creepers 2, and Charlies Angels 2 -- the director deserves a Full Throttle and a half nelson.
I hope we are spared from Hulk II.

The Vegetative State
Manos: The Hands of Fate

Acclaimed by those in the know as the worst film of all time. Makes Plan 9 From Outer Space look like - well, a pretty crappy film - nothing's going to make Ed Wood look good...

The doctor is in
"In Dreams" That movie was so farked up it was unbelievable. My friend fell asleep in the theatre, and no one else could figure out wtf was going on, so near the end everyone started talking and calling people on their cells and nobody cared. At least I got enjoyment out of watching the couple in front of me make out, so it wasn't a complete waste of time! *lol*

I flicked through this lengthy thread hoping someone mentioned the worst film of all time. Sorry guys, you're all wrong. Not that most of the films aren't terrible, but this takes the cake.

The Conqueror (1950s)

O.K., first of all John Wayne plays Genghis Khan. That's right, the Duke as an Asian barbarian. It was financed by Howard Hughes and also starred Susan Hayward. It was terrible. Worse than it sounds, but there's more.

In an effort to show that there was nothing wrong with testing nuclear bombs in the American Southwest, the film was shot a few miles from where they had been blowing up nukes for many years. The soil was radioactive as Hell (actually I think that the Devil is too smart to test nukes in Hell). Then to make sure everyone had a good dose, they brought tons of the poisoned soil back to Hollywood so the sand in the interior shots matched the ones from the desert.

John Wayne, Susan Hayward, Agnes Moorhead (Samantha's mother on Bewitched), the rest of the cast, the producer, the director, in fact almost everyone who worked on this film died of particularly nasty cancer over the next two decades.

A film that was a bomb, shot near a bomb site, that killed everyone involved. I can't think of a worse film.

I'm a bit hazy on the details because I only saw it once many years ago and my brain is still trying to erase it before I get cancer and die too. If you ever get a chance to see it cover yourself in lead before viewing

Winter People

Terrible, terrible wannabe period piece with Kurt Russell and Kelly McGillis.

Full of deep revealing dialogue like "I'm a clock maker, I make clocks."

Close second: Brad "Arm" Pitt in Legends of the Fall. I had never seen the movie, read the book, no reviews, nothing and 5 minutes into the movie I catalogued for my wife how this predictable POS would fall out. Unfortunately she made me sit through 2+ excruciating hours more while my canned script came to fruition.

Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas

Keep waiting for a plot or something to happen. The whole movie is one continuous acid trip. What a waste of talent with good actors Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro and good director in Terry Gilliam.

The Blair Witch Project

No plot development and a major headache from the hand held camera work. I still have a headache thinking about it.

The Natural

Just plain dumb. Redford was very destructive everytime he hits a homerun. Either he kills someone (outfielder crashing into fence) or destroys the bank of lights. People keep telling me what a great baseball movie it was. For baseball flms, Bull Durham with a good plot and smart dialogue is 100% better.

Driven - Sly Stallone.

Not only the worst racing movie ever, it ranks as one of the worst movies ever.
