Are you even bothering to watch? Do you care who wins? Or is it all a big, "Meh."

Care? Yes...not on a deep level, but I would prefer the Tigers to win it over the Cards

Watch? No. don't care enough to watch.

pretty much what MLAM said. I've hardly watched that many pitches this World Series, I dont know what it is, there is no intrigue for me. I was excited for Boston in 2004, didnt really watch last year's either...

This year I've paid so little attention to baseball I didn't find out who was playing in it till game 1.

Right now baseball lacks personality. Probably partly the way it's marketed.

But I find Hockey, Basketball, Football (nfl and cfl) to be much more entertaining ways to spend 2 or 3 hours.

Even MMA and WNBA is more exciting.

I wish I could say the Cards won the Series but the Tigers simply LOST it and handed it to St Louis with a bow tied on it. What the hell is (8) unearned runs??? That sign of "Hit it to the pitcher" was so dead on. So depressed ...

As for the poll, have to laugh. Being Canadian but living in the States, I'm quite aware of the fact that nobody outside of Canada ... Scratch that, outside of NHL cities ... Nope, "Hockeytown" doesn't care" ... Outside of the Canadian NHL cities gives a giant rat's ass about hockey. Sad but true.

Wait ... Buffalo cares. Ooops ... Nobody gives a giant's rat's ass about Buffalo too. Sorry forgot.

Go Lions ... Damnit, I feel even worse now.

don't understand why they call it world serious when it has only north America teams in it. I think Japan was the world Champion this year.

what a silly statement...You are saying that you don't think the reason for Asian players to come to NA is $$$$...There isn't any $$ in the sport in japan compared to here...

I just think that if you call yourself world champ, then you should be the best in the world.

...but I'd be willing to bet any of the MLB teams in the playoffs would beat the World Champion Japanese in a 7 game "series".

That isn't slander against the Japanese...it is a reflection of the fact that the best MLB teams are made up of players from several contries...and that the team is comfortable playing together having built rapport over 162 games.

No way a Janpanese all star team could beat them 4 out of 7....

...and the failure of the mostly Canadian NHLPA to understand it that lead to their demise.

They thought the fans would demand a return of hockey...what they failed to understand is that their true fans (Canadians) had alternatives (minor league hockey, in addition to playing th sport themselves) and their largest fan base (in the US) really, really (no REALLY) didn't give a shit.

Morons...but they again, what do you expect from a bunch of guys from a town named Moosejaw who are now millionaires but stil resent the fact that a guy from New York owns a business and wants to make a buck?

people also say that its impossible that a Japanese all star can beat a American all stars team.

Only people...

...who didn't understand the game, or were incrediably biased.

Actually, amongst "experts" the US team was never favored...the Domininican squad was.

And...the tourney was essentially single elimination once you got down to the critical games...a tough way to play baseball (baseball is SO random that on any given day any team can beat any other team...which is why in MLB there are series...). Proof?

No way an all star team of ANY sort from ANY country beats a top notch MLB team (not sure if the Cardinals qualify, frankly...I think they got lucky thanks to a comedy of errors...thinking more like the Twins with a healthy pitching staff...or the White Sox...or the Mets...again at full strength) over a 7 game series...
