She is based in Miami.
Well her honeymoon period could end after the finals:

Qatar 2022: Is Ivana Knoll going to be sued by the Qatari authorities?

All the reason that Canada should negotiate her release if she is arrested. Apparently, she resides in Germany.

She was born in Germany. Zagreb is her permanent residence but she secured a 3-year US working visa and resides in Miami

The Moroccans acted terrible, they went after the referee at the end. They felt they were entitled to a penalty, when they weren't, Hakimi was out f the area. If anything the Croatian were short changed a penalty . Assholes.

They played good this whole tournament, but this wasn't needed.

No matter what, but she has really stolen the limelight at this World Cup.
Quick question. If you were an Argentinian Fan, would you miss the World Cup game with Messi to go on a date with her?

According to French newspaper L'Equipe, Konate-Varane-Coman are still sick whereas Hernandez and Tchouameni were absent from today's training for knee and hip injury respectively :(

France squad was already decimated with injuries before the start of the tournament and we know that the remaining substitutes aren't as good.

It doesn't look good for France.
Actually it hasn't looked good for them from the get go (Benzema/Kante/Pogba...)

Yes it doesn't look good at all. We've just seen with Morocco what injuries can do to a team. I'm indifferent to which team will win the final but I am tempted to put a small bet on Argentina. I'll probably wait to see the line up first.

I think that both Kante and Pogba are past their peak years when they were really influential in the French team. Someone who also fitted that acclaim was Dimitri Payet who was a really creative and dynamic midfielder. A lot of French fans cannot understand why he was not selected this time after missing the 2018 World Cup due to an injury. Yes Benzema is a huge miss also for France. Another player that could have brought some flair to the French team is Newcastle's Saint-Maxim. He has been in astonishing form for them. Well shows that maybe France has a very deep squad and to me are the favourites to retain the trophy.

I thought exactly what you said about Pogba and Kante on Griezmann. He was poor from June to September in the 6 matches(1 win, 3 draws and 2 losses) that France played in the Nations league. However, I was terribly wrong as he is possibly their best player along with Mbappe in this world cup.

I'm not sure why/when Deschamps stopped selecting Payet. I might be wrong but I don't think that he has played for France since the Euro 2016 tournament.

His selection was also highly criticized by the French media mainly the fact that he brought 6 central defenders and didn't bring enough natural wing backs like Mendy(R. Madrid), Digne(A.villa) and Clauss(Marseille). Another criticism happened when he chose to bring Kolo Muani as replacement for Nkunku instead of Fekir who was part of the winning group in 2018 and has a more similar style of play.

He was asked yesterday if Benzema would play or be present as a guest. His answer was "I think your question lacks tactfulness, we had a injuries before the beginning of this tournament and from that moment my squad number was reduced to 24. The team that I will select for the final will be from that group. I don't know if Benzema will be present as I am not the one in charge of sending the invitations" :sneaky:

Yes France has a lot of squad depth when everyone is fit but I don't think this is the case now. They did rotate their squad for their last group match against Tunisia(0-1 loss) and they played both Camavinga (left back) and Guendouzi (left forward) out of their normal position. Regardless of what happened, I think France performance is already a success given the players that couldn't make it.

I think we will have 2-3 goals in this final as both teams got a lot of firepower upfront. I just hope that we will get a winner by the end of the 90 or 120 minutes as I am not a fan of deciding the winner on penalty kicks. The only thing that we know for sure is that at the end of tomorrow, we will have a country who has won the world cup for the 3rd time.

The Nations League is a rubbish competition no one takes seriously. The WC is another cup of tea altogether.

Kante was the disruptor and Pogba the maestro at the WC in Russia when France defeated Argentina in the Round of 16. In this WC, Griezmann has been the disruptor, the maestro and the Energizer bunny. New found respect.

Olivier Giroud will bully the Argentina defense. France 2 Argentina 1

Managers of losing teams Brazil, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal have all departed. But the manager of the most talented team at the WC, Gareth Southgate, is staying. England embraces losers, which is why they havent won anything since 1966.

The unofficial kill count for the Qatar World Cup stands at 6500 South Asian workers, this doesn't include the kill count of Africans. The final tabulation could be much higher. The kill count for the Russian World Cup was 18. FIFA are their own personal cosa nostra, has behaved like maggots to this tragedy. No wonder India rejects football.

I hope rising tennis star Jannik Sinner doesn't get any of Gianni Infantino's slime on him. Their home towns are on opposite sides of Swiss/Italian border.

I disagree, the Three Lions have always been a fractured Selects, Southgate is the first manager to get them playing as a team since Bobby Robson. Unless Lo Speciale, Carlo Ancelotti or Thomas Tuchel take over, any manager that replaces Southgate will be worse.

Absolutely it is not a great competition and I wouldn't usually watch it but this is a world cup year. I wanted to see how France would play with a few injuries and ended up being more impressed with Croatia and Denmark who were in the same group as France.

France will be lucky if they don't lose by 3 or 4 goals.
Argentina are winning the mid field battles and creating all the chances.
