Wait, where do the cast offs usually end up? OAKLAND RAIDERS!

Wasn't there some discussion of New England or was it just rumours?

T.O. has been working out with Carson Palmer. If he does end up signing with Cincinnati they would have not one but two head cases at WR.

Sources are reporting T.O.'s now a Bengal. This should be...interesting.
Owens was a good soldier in Buffalo last season and given that its a 1 year contract with the Bengals that will sort of give him incentive to be on his best behaviour. Honestly even before T.O agreed to terms I thought they had a pretty good looking team. No disrespect to the original poster of this thread but I am surprised that there is so much talk about a guy who is no longer an elite receiver.

Gotta like their receiving corps with Ocho, Bryant, as well as the draft picks Gresham and Shipley. As a fan of college football I saw a lot of Texas last year and Shipley is a Wes Welker type in my opinion. Not saying he will be as good as Welker (certainly not in his first year anyway) but he plays that same style. I do think Ocho will like the addition of Owens because it gives him a vertical threat opposite him. Wouldnt even surprise me to see Owens have more TDs than Ocho for the simple fact that Ocho will attract most of the double-coverage's and T.O will be lining up against the defenses No. 2 CB or maybe even the nickelback in most situations. Plus T.O is a bigger target for T.O down near the goal-line.

Defensively, they get Odom back to give them some good pass-rush. They have a really good linebacking corps with Maeluga , Rivers, etc. And one of , if not the best corner-tandem in the league with Joseph and Hall.

Forgetting the fact I'm responding after we know he signed with the Cincy Pussycats...Shanahan would have been a great coach for him. Shanny, if nothing else, knows how to treat prima donna vets.

Funny how Denver's roster has been remade since he left town.
Actually, I think this says more about Josh McDaniels lack of skills in managing personalities than anything else. I like the whole team concept thing but at the same time I think McDaniels is overdoing it by jettisoning talented players in Marshall, Cutler (I expect his picks will drop dramatically under Martz in CHI), Sheffler. I feel bad for the Broncos fans, but at least they threw them a bone and reupped with Dumerveil. I'm really a big fan of the smaller , more athletic edge-rushers like Dumerveil because most of them are scheme-diverse (i.e can play in a traditional 4-3 or the increasingly popular 3-4). The Broncos still have a couple of big time stars on that team with Clady and Dumerveil though at two very key positions , especially given the direction the league is going in. Bailey is still a very good CB but obviously he is no longer the gold-standard for corners in this league.
