Sure you do! It's folks like you with TJ thinking that have aided in prolonging the lockdowns.
That's laughable.. My name is not David Williams or Doug Ford and I don't run a small business. Also I do follow public health advice as defined in relation to being a bachelor. Full disclosure im fortunate enough to work from home. Perhaps you should look in the mirror and ask yourself how are the people/businesses doing who relay on our patronage ie hair salons or my stylist from Harry Rosen doing...

I still shop for clothes and buy curbside from responsible business owners. Do you?

At current, the rumor mill suggests that they’re extending to no earlier than June 2nd.

It’s an interesting date as I’ve seen references to key court cases being heard May 27-28, and June 3rd - all seeking to challenge the current lockdown measures.

it’s also still rumored that the Liberals are going to make an election announcement for in or around June 24th with parliament being dissolved as soon as next week.

Liberals will call an early election since the other parties are in shambles

If you actually believe in Covid calling the election is foolish
If you just want to profit from Covid time to strike while iron is hot

Trudeau has the advantage of lingering Anti-Trump sentiment that serves to hinder any Conservative platform, and we know he’ll resort to identity politics any chance he gets.

Erin O’Toole doesn’t have the confidence of the party base - showing zero leadership in the House of Commons when there could be no easier time to showcase the Liberal corruption destroying this country. He hasn’t presented any solid plan to rebuild the Canadian economy. He hasn’t created enough polarization amongst Canadian voters around key issues of corruption, economic responsibility, judicial independence, or pandemic response.

Jagmeet Singh has undermined any credibility he carried into the last election by resorting to identity politics any chance he gets. His recent crusade seems to be labeling of anti-lockdown sentiments as symbolic of white supremacy. He panders to extreme leftist idealology - all the while trying to position his party as somehow different than the “woke Liberals”. The NDP is also broke.

Its a sad state that Trudeau is more likely now to get a majority government than he was two years ago - and sadder still what damage lies ahead under his rule.

Dr. Yaffe has already said that if we ease restrictions too soon then we should expect a 4th wave soon after. I'm not sure if it's her opinion or she's just reading what they wrote down for her.

fourth wave. Fifth wave. Sixth wave.

lockdowns (nee ‘flatten the curve’) is about resource management. You’re buying time to ensure that you’ve got materials or staff in place to treat those who get sick.

the neat part about pandemics is that they’re self limiting -if they work too good and kill the host, they don’t get to propagate to the next generation. Rather, they’ll continue to mutate until there’s sufficient herd immunity to prevent community spread (either through natural inmubity or inoculation) - or until there’s more and more aggressive dominant strains prevalent.

the longer it takes to get to herd immunity, the statistical chance of getting infected increases accordingly.

but following the data isn’t on the agenda of Canadian health officials.

Yes - I purchased a HP Multifuntion Laser Print device plus toners from Best Buy and used curbside pick up. I also ordered online a Peleton bile for my home makeshift gym because LA Fitness is closed. That said, I still cant utilize the services I value that places like Harry Rosen provides to clients in a "in-person" environment.

Do you see the fundamental difference?

Has anyone been outside lately?

It looks almost like pre-covid. Absolutely nobody is abiding by the current stay-at-home order and next week is summer weather.. everyone will be living their lives outdoors as they should. Ford & Co. can legislate a lockdown for the next 50 years if it floats their boat... that ship has already sailed.

I wrote the same thing in a previous and certain lockdown supporters think I am mentally ill.

I'm not sure what a Peleton bile is but if you meant bike, be careful, Peleton has a recall because of young kids getting killed! You're in danger! I doubt you ever shopped at Harry Rosen, possibly Moores. maybe although I wouldn't be surprised if it was Walmart. I assume you know the fundamental difference??

You do realize everything besides the essentials is still closed right?? Hey, why don't you walk to the Keg on King St. and sit on the patio and wait until you get served. If you do, send us a pic of the drink so you can show us how normal everything is.

think I am mentally ill.
Ahhhhh, finally something we can both agree on.

The Star reported June 2 is on the table. There is a consideration for opening outdoor activities like golf, tennis courts, etc. If the numbers don't come down, they extend it 2 weeks at a time.

Excuse my typos that should read Peloton Bike. I guess you have never visited Harry Rosen to order a custom suit... I like what I like..

People like you seem to be filled with resentment. Since Im heading to Loblaws tonight do you want me to use curbside pickup lol

The Yonge and King locations actually have me on their contact list but no Peloton for me. I prefer to run outside as opposed to inside. If you are going to attempt a maskless shopping trip, then yes I recommend curb-side pick up at Loblaws.

Ford will make the mistake of reopening too early we will be in a fourth wave, and Ford will blame Trudeau on international travel. That's Ford's plan. Get used to opening and closing. It's not about us, it's about Ford.

the provincial govt has shown to extend the emergency orders, and by association, lockdowns in 28-or-30 day increments. I fully expect this to continue.
However, as I’ve previously mentioned there is allegedly some key court cases pending end of May and beginning of June that May serve to overturn current legislation - assuming of course that the province doesn’t concede and withdraw from those arguments.
