I know it’s long odds but with Biden falling to 4th in Iowa polling, falling behind in fundraising and not looking any more with-it, does Hillary see an opening.

Rich liberals and bankers (a sizable sub segment) are scared shitless of Warren, that money has not found its way to Biden, is it on the sidelines waiting for Clinton.

Clinton also polls well with African Americans, a very important demo in a Democratic primary.

I don't think enough of the PACs and bundlers will be there for her.

Bloomberg probably has them frozen until this Biden thing plays out.

She isn't getting in. It's going to be either Biden or Buttigieg they try to send to the convention.

Still to early to tell which will make it. One has polling, one has Cash. And only three tickets at best out of Iowa.

As I've said. One poll. Buttigieg spent about 6 million in Iowa to get those numbers.

Bernie hasn't started really spending yet. He is letting the field settle a bit. I believe he learned alot last time around. Including timing.

He has Nevada in good shape, running fine in NH, and will bring Iowa up to speed shortly.
You keep saying one poll but it’s two polls AND the average of the last four polls. Deal with the data. The Mayor has Facebook boy behind him and you can see Iowa from Gary....

That USA today poll looks like a real outlier. I'm taking that one of the poll with a full salt shaker.

That's the one that, imo makes the aggregate off.

I'm also going to give something else to think about.

The reason why, as stated, that the early Primaries are important are for fundraising for late donors. But that's the model that Biden and Buttigieg have to rely on. They need those big donors.

Sanders doesn't. All he has to do is send a email out asking for an extra $10 this month and if only one third respond that's $5,000,000. If more do more money. And they will. A loss in Iowa will motivate them to give MORE.

He will do well in NH. Is first in Nevada. And has big numbers in some Super Tuesday states. Iowa is the most conservative of the early states.

He will get delegates from the caucuses there. And move on to bigger fish.

You seriously need to place a bet n Vegas, if you are right there is money to be made (and you know what that means).

What’s the first state he will win?

If someone doesn’t get knocked out in the first couple of primaries it’s going to be a disaster of a convention. Meanwhile Trump raised 125m last Q and the Dems have fired up his base. I bet he will outrage the entire Dem field in Q4.

I can't tell yet. I think he will take Nevada pretty clean. And will at least be Second in NH.

Iowa and their caucuses are always a wild card. Weather, volunteers, 2nd choices all play a larger factor. Methinks no clear winner in Iowa.

As to the convention I have some theories but there are still to many heads in this to get a read yet.

If Zuckerberg backs Buttigieg (who made a sudden shift to support big lobbying/tech) then he'll become the 'mainstream' or corporate choice with a massive machine behind him.
Then there's no reason for Clinton, not that there ever was.

That’s the Mayors play.

This thread, unsurprisingly, is a right-wing speculative circle jerk. Aside from frank's single post the other 14 posts to this point are righties getting hard fantasizing about Hillary. Probably the only person trump has a slim chance of beating.

Obviously you have reading comprehension issues. Posts 7 to 15 don't even mention her.

Hillary Clinton enters the race and totally destroys Trump on election night, then she promptly dies right before the inauguration and her VP Bill Clinton becomes president again. It may sound crazy but it is any more crazier than giving a reality TV star access to nuclear weapons?

Well, seeing as the title of this thread specifically is to discuss Hillary, who really has the comprehension problem?

So in other words you didn't read the thread but made an assumption right?

Ever hear of thread drift?
