Harveys and Swiss chalet are both Cara restaurants. There's a few harveys/SC combo stores around. If I'm going to eat a harveys burger I will go to one of those whenever I can because they serve swiss chalet fries.
yup, that was the last one I remember. It got replaced by pizza hut/wing street. There was a st hubert on Avenue rd.
The food in Quebec in general just blows Ontario out of the water.
You guys need to get out more...lol, these things are all over the place. Half the locations are like this now. If the restaurant isn't literally split in half, you always see a havery's close to a swisschalet.Correct.
There is a Harvey's Swiss Chalet combination restaurant at Keele and St. Claire.
You can go in Harvey's and order Swiss chalet.
Ditto North Bay Ontario.
I'll eat in SC, but I detest Harvey's.
Swiss Chalet is owned by Cara Foods. I know Cara used to be publicly traded. I haven't checked lately, but unless Cara unloaded it, or went private, that data should be available to any stockholder. How do you know this? It's held by a private company so there's no financial data to comb over.
Swiss chalet is always busy when I go there.
Cara does or used to also supply airplane food.Swiss Chalet is owned by Cara Foods.
Dundas west of kipling is not a combo store. They are two separate stores. There are not that many combo stores, but quite often a harveys is near a swiss chalet. You can only get swiss chalet fries with a harveys burger at a combo store. There are quite a few Harveys/Swiss Chalet combo restaurants. Keele & St Clair and Dundas/w of Kipling come to mind right away.
I loved the St Hubert hot chicken sandwich, their gravy is awesome. Much better than SC. My main issue with SC today is its very pricey. A 1/4 chicken dinner with white meat will run you over $11. Add a drink and its $13.
It's been private for almost a decade. Any data a stockholder can supply would be completely meaningless.Swiss Chalet is owned by Cara Foods. I know Cara used to be publicly traded. I haven't checked lately, but unless Cara unloaded it, or went private, that data should be available to any stockholder.
Mmmmm, Kenny Rogers...Forget St.Huberts and Swiss Chalet...I wouldn't even feed that chicken to my dogs. The BEST and I mean the absolute best chicken was from Kenny Rogers Roasters.
It's the wood that makes it good.Forget St.Huberts and Swiss Chalet...I wouldn't even feed that chicken to my dogs. The BEST and I mean the absolute best chicken was from Kenny Rogers Roasters.
I suspect they should be here pretty soon. Too big of a market for a big name to not try to plunder. No Papa John's in the GTA etc.
When I use to frequent NYC in the 1990's, there were fast food places call "Roy Rogers".Mmmmm, Kenny Rogers...
