Why I Am "Addicted" to this Hobby

Hello Terbites,

Notwithstanding the obvious pleasure of female companionship, the main reason that I am addicted to this hobby is the thrill of hearing that soft knock on the door.

To me, that knock signifies the culmination of all the anticipation and excitement throught the day or week (depending on when the booking was made). And when the door is opened, all that nervous energy is released. This orgasm of the mind, if you will, is much more intense if it is the first encounter with the SP.

Sometimes I wonder if that orgasm of the mind is more intense than the physical one.

I have often wondered how the SP feels when knocking on the door in the similar situation. I am sure they have all had experiences that they would rather forget.

A different but probably more powerful "Orgasm of the mind." Must take a lot of guts doing that day after day, not knowing what is waiting behind that door. Think of the girls out west!

Java Jolt, I couldn't have put it better myself. The knock on the door. The anticipation of that knock on the door. For me it's a collimation of mind, fantasy and, physical. As all of these come together, it just makes the big 'O' that much more satisfing. You are able to get your 'fix' on all these levels. However, there is a very fine line that the hobby can get away from us. I am able-to this point-place limits on myself to avoid the pitfalls. I can see how this can become an addiction. That is half the battle in keeping this hobby in check.

For the SP it's not a similar situation cuz it's WORK. I've been told
by more than one SP that in the first few minutes they can pretty
much tell how the call is gonna go, intuition=experience=survival.
They're definately in a precarious situation on those first visits, I'm
sure they have some horror stories that will curl your toes.

I am a hotel room guy, and I think you have hit upon something here. I agree that the anticipation of the encounter is tremendously exciting. Especially when it is someone new. You open the door, not really knowing what to expect. That last half hour before an sp is scheduled to arrive goes by so slowly! I love hearing that knock! If I have a room near the elevators, sometimes I get excited just hearing the ring of elevator.

I have a lot of respect for sp's in this regard. To knock on a stranger's door, not having any idea what to expect, I think would be very very hard.

So true. It's the anticipation...from the moment I decide to book my flight until the minute she arrives at my door, and everything in between. I think it has more to do with stress relief in general. I'm in a very demanding occupation, and even the idea of being able to escape into fantasy for a couple of days is extremely cathartic. I've learned to savour every moment, since a return to the mundane comes all too early. Speaking of which, I need to call my travel agent! LOL

It never ceases to amaze me how brilliantly some guys can articulate the nuances that make this hobby so fun and addictive.

Ahhh... the knock on the door. Although each type of knock has it’s own special qualities, whether it comes from an outcall SP knocking on your door or you knocking on the door of an incall SP or an MPA knocking on the door of your massage room, it's all equally as stimulating.

For me, the knock on the door (in whatever form it takes) is like the bell that triggers the salivation of a Pavlovian dog.

It is surprising that you guys wait for the knock. I usually keep looking thru the peek hole on the hotel door. I have to agree with your mental orgasm theory. I have never repeted SP and that is why I think this hobby is great. Men like change in their life, and this hobby keeps a man's life interesting.

Unfortunately, I can't say that I ever get a thrill from the knock on the door. It may be because.....they ring the bell.

Shack, why don't you just disconnect the doorbell and join in on the knocking thing? Aren't women's breasts referred to as 'knockers' now that I think about it...Hhhmmm...Concidence? Perhaps. I think that I might be onto something here.
