Well, one can care about the regulars one sees to a degree. They may not want to see you outside of the fantasy client/sp relationship, but sp's do sometimes like/care about their regular clients if the two of you 'click' and she may, looking at her appointment list for the day, think 'oh, I'm glad it's "X" I'm seeing again for a session today and not some unknown newbie, or "Y" who has bad breath, or "Z" who wants BBBJCIM even though I've told him a dozen times I don't do that'.

If you mean that you start to wish she wouldn't see other clients, would see you off the clock etc, then yeah, I can see how hobbying might be frustrating under those circumstances.

Years ago just out of university I was a partner in a retail outlet. I cared about my regulars who were easy to deal with. I cared a lot more about the money they brought in the store. It would be stretching it to say I felt any affection towards my customers.
