1. they know how to handle a stick (unlike female soccer players who use their feet)

LOL, but as mentioned and to repeat, other than a number of white female soccer players, the majority of non-white female soccer players look and act like Tomboy. Some look downright Rosie.
BTW, Natasha Kai is not that hot because of her numerous "self-inflicted" scars.
They qualified in the Oceanic division by playing Soloman Islands and team of that calibre, they won in a playoff against Bahrain.
Canada plays in a much tougher division with teams such as Mexico, who have progressed to the knockout stage. USA and Honduras who are in the tournament, plus very tough Central American and Caribbean teams.
There is no future for a Canadian youth to play soccer once they reach a certain age, the most they can hope for is a full scholarship to an American University.

If your really good at the game European soccer clubs will take you on, or you can move to the US and play in their soccer league. I think parents want the kids to play professional Hockey and not professional soccer.
