I think Huntsman would be a terrific choice. He was the only Republican candidate for president I could take seriously. Whether or not he would take the job, who knows.Huntsman would be an interesting move.
Didn't he take the China assignment for Obama? It might a terrific sign to those wanting cooperation across the floor. I also liked his moderate honest outlook on reality in the US. He's also fluent in Mandarin. If he can learn that he's a quick learner for anything.I think Huntsman would be a terrific choice. He was the only Republican candidate for president I could take seriously. Whether or not he would take the job, who knows.
I think Sarah has it over Arnold, at least she has some knowledge about the location of Russia, lol.I'm going with a surprise pick: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Let's see what happens..
Great question, I don't think there is any chance it would be Huntsman as I would think Obama would see him as disloyal... that said he'd be a fantastic pick.Because I'm pretty sure Hillary will quit, which is too bad. I thought she did very well. Kerry and possibly even Huntsman come to mind.
Entirely agreeGreat question, I don't think there is any chance it would be Huntsman as I would think Obama would see him as disloyal... that said he'd be a fantastic pick.
Also unless the U.S. has totaly gone to the dogs in terms of values, it will also hinge on what the Benghazi investigations end up showing.Hillary. . . . I laugh at the thoughts that she'll run for POTUS in 4 years, she already looks like she's 100 and she's aging like warm milk in the sun as it is.
Bubba is probably the best person on the planet for that job. I could see him delivering an Israeli/Palestinian agreement in 4 years. Probably the only person on the planet that could achieve this. I am not sure if there is a precident for a former president becoming Sect of State. But he would be the most extraordinary sec of state in US History. There is only 1 choice
William Jefferson Clinton.
This would be the worst nightmare for the War Mongering wing of the GOP!....:eyebrows:Bubba is probably the best person on the planet for that job.
If not, I hear that the Liberal Party of Canada is looking for a new leader.Bubba is probably the best person on the planet for that job. Canadians love Bubba, I think he would win a crushing landslide majority. It would be even worse they Tory Party of 3. Clinton could do soooooo much for this country. If only it were possible. If not, I hear that the Liberal Party of Canada is looking for a new leader.
I'd vote for him for PM.
He'd love being Prime Minister I'm sure and he would accel in a parliamentary system where he got to speak every day.
Don't think he take it, or it would be offered. There is only 1 choice
William Jefferson Clinton.
I dunno, Obama is not a control freak, I think if there is someone extraordinary he could trust and policy was agreed upon in broad strokes, it could allow him to focus fully on domestic policy.Don't think he take it, or it would be offered.
Way to much potential for "whose in charge here."
I agree that there is 0% chance of Slick Willy for Sec of State.Don't think he take it, or it would be offered.

Won't happen. He's too old. The Supreme Court is becoming more and more political, and any President today wants to appoint someone who will stick around for as long as possible.I agree that there is 0% chance of Slick Willy for Sec of State.
Would much rather see him appointed to SCOTUS.
To the best of my knowledge he is still disbarred. I'm pretty sure on that basis alone he would get a zero rating from the ABA's Judicial Advisory Panel.Would much rather see him appointed to SCOTUS.
I believe his suspension is long over:To the best of my knowledge he is still disbarred. I'm pretty sure on that basis alone he would get a zero rating from the ABA's Judicial Advisory Panel.
