Did a background check on Chrystia Freeland, it was surprising.

I thought she was tiny, she's actually 5' 6", she was born in Peace River Alberta. Super tough negotiator during the hammering out of the USMCA Trade deal...which is now hurting the USA economy. Goods cannot flow freely as needed by American consumers under NAFTA. She has been a brilliant politician so far...she deserves her time as PM. The waste of chicken skin wuz wrong, Freeland negotiated a deal between Canada and Germany...which benefits Alberta.

To be perfectly honest, no political party is perfect. However, dividing the country is actually Liberal practice if not outright policy.
Going back to Trudeau the Elder, his idea of winning government was to win Quebec and Ontario (and a few seats here and there in the rest of Canada) and to heck with the other provinces.
The federal Liberals are actually just a Quebec/Ontario party. That is why Trudeau the younger can win a minority government with less votes than the Conservatives. Provincially, the Liberals do not win in Quebec or Ontario.

The Libs win urban ridings in Quebec, Vanouver, Winnipeg and - last election - over 50% of the fed seats in the Maritimes. Plus all of urban ON. That's enough to reliably win a large minority government each election. If AB and SK want to vote Tory, that's literally their problem.
