Which Adult DVD store in Toronto has best selection ?

I realize DVDs are going the way of the do do bird but there are still some I want, partly cause the box covers show gorgeous gals.

One I'm searching for is:

'Adult Guidance 4' by Innocent High.

Let me know if you have that.

I'll be visiting Toronto soon and just wondering, which Adult store have the Best selection of Adult DVDs.

I also value helpful staff that will answer questions and place orders without bitching.

I've run into some stores where the desk person doesn't even make eye contact.

So any suggestions of the Best Adult DVD stores in Toronto are welcome.

I'm also seeking the best Mail order company for ordering Adult DVDs within Canada, I recall there used to be one called Canada's Best.

I didn't know we even had Adult DVD/video stores left in the GTA. I recall one in Mississauga (Dixie and Matheson) that had an extensive selection. Not sure if they are still there, its been so long since I've rented/bought a DVD.

Why would you want them to make eye contact? I would think that they avoid eye contact for the customer's benefit; there are some guys who think that a store clerk who sold them a stroke movie is going to point their finger and squoak, like in Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, if they see a customer on the street.

More than 40 years ago, I was a cashier in a magazine store in Montreal which sold a lot of porn. We didn't give a shit what anyone wanted to buy.

If the owner was in the store, however, it was a different story. Any time a guy bought multiple skin magazines, the owner beckoned him over to the side of the cash, and showed him the 'secret stash', kept under the daily programs for harness racing at Blue Bonnets. The boss bought really gross porn mags from a guy named McKenzie Pope, who brought them up by truck from New York City. I think we were the last stop on his route, because there was always one small bundle of smut and nothing else in the back of Pope's truck.

One time the boss was beside me, thumbing through one of the new gross porn mags, and he said "Look at this garbage. This will really sell!".

There is a place in downtown Streetsville, called the Love Shop. I don't think it's part of the chain, think it's a one off. Sells the adult toys/lube and all that shit. In the basement it's all DVD's, wall to wall...and it has a few private viewing rooms ...now that's a blast from the past.

Streetsville's Love Shop is ok, The one on Dixie just south of the 401 gets my vote for wider selection. And not so cramped.

But you cant get to it from Dixie. Instead from Dixie turn and take Matheson east.

Turn south at the first intersection, which is where two paths of Matheson abut - yes confusing.
(One was when it went down to Eglington, and the other for when the newer bridge over Etobicoke Creek was built.)

Turn in at the Mr B's signs - that turn I think will get you to the parking lot that abuts Dixie where the adult video store fronts.

I tend to pick though the bargain bin of older titles.
Something like $10 each or 3 for $5 each.

New releases go for about $30-35.

Some aisles of specialty themes have titles that will even raise the eyebrows of this seasoned monger.

Yes, two stores up from Blue Lagoon.

Yah... lets say all in the interest of providing most accurate info....

Street address is 1616 Matheson.
Store is called Sinsations Adult.
Easiest is to turn off the south leg of Matheson at the Barks and Rec sign.
Same way to get in to Blue Lagoon from the north side.

Mr. B's it turns out is a dead end lane, though part of the same complex.

Discount area is now 3/$15 in the bin or 3/$20 on the racks in that area.
There was a box of no cover discs at the front counter 3/$10 but not the greatest selection IMO
Good area of adult products as well.

I'm personally disappointed that all the major Hotel chains took the X-rated movies off the Pay-Per-View. Nowadays, you have girls on OnlyFans who will charge $20 USD for a few pics of their bare breasts.
