This or real estate (comes with work of course). Personally I think real estate tends to have the overall best return long term wise based on where you get something.
Over the long term S&P 500 index is one of the highest returning indexes in the world
so you invest and forget it.

It also has more volatility, of course , as the golden rule is the more risk means greater
potential reward, otherwise everyone would get into the S&P 500 but they do not
because they are risk avoiding

The question is when do you get out ?

Not when it is low so you only invest what you do not need for a market cycle of 5 or more years

but if you sell when historically high then you are market timing which cannot be done

Honestly depend on your risk tolerance. I do agree stock is high.. but I don't think you have missed the boat. I think ETFs is the way to go. and do DCA.. buy consistently for every 2-3 weeks and not dump ur 100-200K into something in one shot.

if you have a 100k-200k to invest for long term in present time. where will you invest? will it differ based on personal or business fund?
long term (like 5 yrs plus i assume)...so don't worry about being late to the party

broadly-diversified, low-cost index fund such as xeqt; if you want more home bias, veqt
