Hey People!

Any good suggestions on where to eat a nice dinner in Niagara Falls Ont.? Thinking sort of upscale, not too fancy, something like a Keg or similar. Thanks for your help!

It's not exactly upscale but there's a Kelsey's on Clifton Hill, good food. There's a monster buffet in the Skylon Tower that's supposed to be good.

A long time ago, I used to go to the Como Restaurant in Niagara Falls NY.

Unfortunately, it means crossing the boarder and the NY side is still pretty dumpy (though not as run down as it used to be).

The food at the Como was fantastic at the time (hopefully, it's still pretty good)

Mama Mia's on Victoria for dinner. Basell's further along Victoria (around 4880 Victoria if I remember my new Garmin info correctly) for a huge breakfast (last time I ordered bacon & eggs there, I counted 11 strips of bacon. Also, the "Canadian" bacon is outstanding - and you get three huge "chops" of it with your eggs and toast).

You'll thank me later...

For a super nice lunch theres the Sheraton on Fallsview dr. Its like $16 a person but if you go on the Sheraton hotel site-Starwood-you can sometimes print coupons, I save $4 a person that way.

Foods very good and its all you can eat, even has a desert bar.

A Cut Above steakhouse the name, 3rd floor...Dinner cost much more. You can see the Falls great too.

It was there and Popyee's chicken where I eat lunch.

If you want fine dining + wine and are willing to travel to Niagara on the Lake or areas just outside the Falls, try Tony de Luca, Stone Road Grille, Liv, the Vintage Hotels restaurants or the following wineries: Hillebrand, Peller Estate, Vineland Estates.

After an all too short time spent at the Fallsview Casino, our group of friends went to dinner at the Olde Stone Inn. Quite a nice dinner and ambience.

That's not "sort of upscale, something like the Keg " as author of this thread has requested, but rather a good greasy spoon place with large portions

And the Ca' d'Oro. Go up Clifton, turn left just across the tracks and find a place to park. Has a Venetian themed disco w/ canals in the back. It's the sorta place you'd expect Tony Soprano to have a piece of. 64oz steak's free if you finish it.

I think you mean the Casa D'Oro Dining Lounge.

If you want the BEST in upscale in Niagara Falls it's Monticello Grille House & Wine Bar!!!
Right on; my Venetian floated away on me.
