I've had instances where the parking machine could not accept coins due to a problem with the machine and a credit card would work.

I'm sure you realize that (1) you don't need to show your wife your CC statement or if you do (2) you can always get a CC she doesn't know about. When I was young my parents would see my CC bills and notice if I paid a ticket and bitch at me. Then I switched to online statements and they saw nothing.
There's always a solution. Sucks that a guy has to put in a little extra work to maintain discretion but it's probably necessary.
Sometimes hotel parking lots are the best place to park. That's my story if my wife ever notices.
Most cost effective way to deter sp is key cards in elevators. Clients do not like that situation. Believe me .... Hotel escorts will soon be a thing of the past ... in a few years.

I work in the Hotel Industry & go to the Hoteliers Conventions in the U.S. Much talk in the States among the Hotel executives about the prostitution problem & the bad optics of having L.E. hovering around the Hotel. Patrons get leery there is crime issues with L.E. hovering around. You might think patrons would feel safe BUT it has the opposite effect. ANYWAY the consensus is the best way to combat it .... ELEVATOR KEY CARDS!!!
