AEW can compete with WWE if they don't make the same mistakes as WCW.

AEW recently signed a contract with TNT, they are now part of Turner Broadcasting and by extension Warner Media. TSN aired the initial broadcast I was impressed with it. I wasn't expecting Chris Jericho to do a hardcore match, he definitely TOFTT, his New Jack style opponent wasn't selling much.

Toward the end of Andre the Giant's life an antidote for acromegaly was developed. Andre never took it, by that time he was too far gone. Paul Wight (The Big Show) did start the treatment, he's been able to control his weight ever since.

Another part of my childhood gone. I didn't know about this till now, Dominic Denucci passed away in August. The wrestling shows he put on together with Tony Parisi helped to establish the CHIN Picnic in the early 70's. For awhile he was in a major feud with Edward Farhat (The Sheik) that went all the way to MSG in NYC with the WWWF. Great eulogy by Mick Foley.
