So you're calling him mentally ill for repeating "The Power Of Christ Compels You?" Again, I've avoided spilling the beans to you on this one asswipe, but now I want to. The line is from a 1973 movie called "The Exorcist", and it is now largely a pop-culture reference.Hank Reardon said:Thems pretty tough words pumpkin !!
Seriously , I have no idea what Christ has to do with the discussion though ?
I do know that many mentally ill people do often repeat passages over and over. Many times it is the chanting of Christ and Satan and biblical passages.
Basically, the line is said over and over again by a preacher in the film to get rid of a Devil who possesses a little girl. I think this is the poster's way of telling you to get lost in a very witty and relevant way.
But you chose to use your gift of psychological insight to call him mentally ill. Amazing... I sure wish I had your abilities to see beyond a simple movie quote.
Oh wait... you're commenting on someone else's mental illness too. Perhaps the mental illness is your own - because that's the way projection works - right Hankeroo? If you mention someone else's flaws, or get concerned by them, you must have the same issue. Please, please tell me that's what projection is. I'm dying to learn from the master.
