Great show, John Noble as the Dr.Bishop stole the show.I'm doing a re-watch of Fringe right now. Such a great show.
Just watched episode 1 of Tulsa King. Looking forward to more...The mayor of kingstown and tulsa king are both good!
The Wire is superb.I've just started the third season of The Wire (HBO) and I'm loving it. Some have said it's the best drama series ever. I'm not sure I'd say that but it's one of the best. It's about gangs, greed, corruption and the decline of big U.S. industrial cities (Baltimore). It's best to watch it with captions on because the ghetto talk is sometimes difficult to understand. Also, give it some time. I was well into the first season before I figured out what was happening. Worth it, though.
Thanks for mentioning the Mayor of Kingstown. Don't know how I never knew it existed. Almost finished Season 1 and it's already one of my faves. The mayor of kingstown and tulsa king are both good!
When you get to the end you might think it is the best. I know I did.I've just started the third season of The Wire (HBO) and I'm loving it. Some have said it's the best drama series ever. German Director Maria Schrader crosses uneasy divides. She was part of the creative team that made Unorthodox, the story of a Hasidic young girl escaping from an arranged marriage to start a new life. Also watched Barbarians season 2 recently on Netflix. Germany coming out with some quality shows lately between Dark, Babylon Berlin, and Barbarians.
1899 is new one also one I have to add to my list. From the German creators of Dark, a multilingual mind bending mystery. Andreas Pietschmann stars in both. I’m hearing good things about it so far but it will be a tough task to outdo Dark.German Director Maria Schrader crosses uneasy divides. Now she's doing it again in her first English project film, She Said is a film about the #MeToo movement. On paper it should be a welcome film on a sensitive subject. Unfortunately the movement has been tarnished by sociopaths who used it to their own ends. It came out for this weekend I don't expect it to set the box-office on fire.
