 A very weird thought came over me yesterday. . . . . .

If you had the choice to be told when and how you would die. . .would you want to know??? Don't want to sound morbid but, if you think about it. . it brings up all kinds of philosophical questions. . .if you new would you change how you live?. . . .if you only had a short time left, would you go crazy (blow everything on SP's etc...... or would you 'repent'???. . .

. . .wonder what others think?????

I was once told I had about 6 months left. Fortunately they were wrong but it did change the way I lived for the next while. I didn't go wild, because there wasn't time. Many, many loose ends to attend to. Now I could go wild 'cause they are all up to date. LOL

They have done tests that apparently give them a good idea of how much time I actually have but I asked them not to tell me as it is not something I want to think about.

Actually, this question was part of a training program I once attended. Question was slightly different:

"If you had exactly one year to live what would you do?"

There were, of course, a wide range of responses, with presenter responding to every single one:

"Why aren't you doing it now?"

I was told that I wouldn't see a certain age, but technology changed and here I am 14 years later! It was really weird because I had lived my entire life knowing I'd pass young and suddenly the doctors weren't sure how long the ventilator would prolong my life.

Knowing my "supposed" time of death messed me up. I had never made future plans for my life because I didn't think I'd have a future. The best mindset is to ignore the forecasts and just live your life, so no I don't want to know when. :)
