and that probably is a drop in the bucket................this is only my opinion, subject to criticism....but they seem to be devoid of any empathy, consideration of the feelings of others, and basically self absorbed narcissists

Norshield handsomely paid agents to sell and raise funds for their operations. I didn't know at the time that an Offering Memorandum need not abide by stricter rules (like a Prospectus) such that moneys were used for ventures that put investors at a higher degree of risk.
Those agents are also complicit mofos.
I'd have to say loan sharks/payday loan companies and drug pushers.

Teachers hands down. They abuse their power and act like arrogant pricks and use their own bias about a person to bring that person down. Teaching is supposed to be about helping students achieve success. Somehow their own arrogance got in the way of that.
CPA and the certified accountants/consultants who think they understand how to run a business. More than likely running it to the ground. Stick to counting beans and let the business people run businesses. If we want your opinion, we'll ask and maybe listen. In this order.
I was going to go with politician, but you're right. I've seen so much stupid shit out of unions, both private and public, that it takes the cake.

Pimps, drug dealers, baby peddlers, child pornographers, etc are not "professions". They are criminals.

They take forever; when you see them there will be 2 'flagmen' watching traffic, a crew chief, a foreman and a supervisor, 8 men with shovels waiting around for a few hours, and 1 guy in a front end loader actually doing something. AND THEN when they're done the patch job is sloppy, bumpy and will need to be torn up and re-repaired within the next 12 months.
