Gee, I was under the impression (i.e. I know that it is true) that life for slaves in the Sugar Islands (including of course Jamaica) was far worse than it was in North America.

Care to explain why black Americans have significantly higher HIV infection rate than white and especially Asians? Much crime is done by heterosexual males between the ages of 16 and 28 with below average and above disabled I.Q's. Poverty is correlated but it's difficult to determine causality. Furthermore, if you analyze the stats using proper probability mathematics this "anti-white" crime war looses a lot of it's validity. There may be some anti-white racism involved but it's much smaller than the other factors. A lot of criminal behaviour seems to be a result of a minority of poor, dumb, young heterosexual males. Maybe it's a testosterone thing. In any event, it's wrong to judge individuals of a whole group based on a minority.

The transatlantic slave trade could never have existed without the African "Middlemen" who transported the captured and enslaved people from the interior to the coastal slave forts.Some interesting facts though, African slavery is still practiced to this very day in far greater numbers than people might like to speak of. During its peak, slavery in Africa was in fact carried out by other Africans, not Europeans. In fact, you could argue that the entire concept of "slaves" was invented by Africans.
