Name some things you have learned from this hobby, maybe about yourself, about women, and anything you'd like to share.

To name a few:

1) I've learned what I like sexually and what kinds of women I like.
2) I've learned which places to avoid in general. Spas and what not.
3) Sex workers are people too, and sometime if its not a good session, might be due to personal issues they're having.
4)A lot of women don't cum from penetration and oral is the only way, or a vibrator.
5) All flesh is at its very basic level, is the same. Some looser some tighter.
6) Out of 10 SP's I'd see, 2 are abysmal, 3-4 are ok and satisfactory, another 3 are very good, and at best 1 is fantastic.
7) Pictures are almost always better than real life.
8) For most SP"s this is strictly a job, and nothing more and they have a limited time they can do this, until younger ones com into the industry.
9) Most of them have either daddy issues, or drug problems, or both.
10) Dicks(performance wise) are not consistent.

Feel free to comment more.

7) Pictures are almost always better than real life.

7. For me 30/70 or 40/60. The Asian pictures are 50/50.
8. Job or money gamble ( easy money or STEM) some try to last till death, others retire but somehow come back for a brief stint.
9. I found 30-40% is from past life issues. And not daddy from past issues. It is complicated.

Some women plan to be in this field from the age of 15. I am not talking stolen or taken, there is a x porn star from the 70's that come to mind.
Some women/men fell into it ( this field of work ) after a separation or divorce when they caught the husband with one. Revenge?
Most women at incalls of their own Condo took Interior decorating, makeup, baking (brownies) and fashion in high school. I wonder why.
Most women at incalls of their own Condo took or read books on mixing drinks. More than I care to learn each one. Specially Wine.
Most women are not paying into their CPP ( Canada Pension Plan) some have RRSP. No plan or idea what they will do once the funds/resources/ MONEY runs out. ( which is my point in #8 above)
One of ten women buy two houses, are landlords by 23 to 25 years of age. More than I achieved by then or my life time. Not envious.

Great question.
In my case, the point of hobbying was simply to move on from decades of being married and simply enjoying the companionship of women, the way I want it, when I want it. Therefore, nothing to learn tbh.
I come from an environment where men dated women a lot, since their tender age, therefore I already knew what I had to know about women. I respect them a lot and know exactly what they want.
I respect myself a lot and I know what I want. They are realistic and I am very realistic, too. Therefore we get along quite well as women are pragmatic, in general.
But I like your listing of things you have learned.
I think I'll append a comment to each of your 10 points as I find them interesting:

1) I've learned what I like sexually and what kinds of women I like
(this hobby, right there, did contribute a lot to your sexuality. Clearly, you knew what you were doing when you have decided hobbying and that is great.
In my case, way before hobbying, I already knew what I like sexually, therefore this hobby was just a logical follow up on that. For the kind of women, way before
hobbying, I already knew what I liked. But it is interesting to see that this hobby is still relevant to two different types of hobbyists: the one who had things to learn from it (you),
and the one who had nothing to learn from it (me).
2) I've learned which places to avoid in general. Spas and what not.
(Interesting. I never tried spas. Good to know. Perhaps you could elaborate a bit on this, if that is fine with you).
3) Sex workers are people too, and sometime if its not a good session, might be due to personal issues they're having.
(100% agree with you. But I am lucky to have built a great relationship with the SWs I see regularly, therefore when they do not feel well,
they are honest about it and let me know in advance, which helps avoiding some off sessions).
4)A lot of women don't cum from penetration and oral is the only way, or a vibrator.
(yeah, and since we are not their boyfriend, it must be tough for them to cum, I would guess. This topic, I did not really focus on it as I do not expect
them to cum with their clients. Good for those who believe in such things, and if that happens for real, then good for them. But it's not really something I have in mind.
Of course, I always ensure the SW and myself have a great time, but I do not really play attention at such things)
5) All flesh is at its very basic level, is the same. Some looser some tighter.
(yeah, I am fine either way. I accept things the way they are)
6) Out of 10 SP's I'd see, 2 are abysmal, 3-4 are ok and satisfactory, another 3 are very good, and at best 1 is fantastic.
(haven't met an abysmal SW yet, but in my case, I'd say that out of 10, 7 are very good and 3 fantastic
7) Pictures are almost always better than real life.
(Yes, yes. For Marketing purpose, the pics almost always look better. I always expected that, therefore I was never disappointed by this.
8) For most SP"s this is strictly a job, and nothing more and they have a limited time they can do this, until younger ones com into the industry.
(and it is a job. I see it that way)
9) Most of them have either daddy issues, or drug problems, or both.
(The SWs I see regularly have none of those issues_
10) Dicks are not consistent.
(ah...that ...not sure what to say)

Number 9 is more speculation I guess. I've run into a few that did drugs and it's complete turn off.
Spas are just more hit and miss most I think would agree, so a few lower end spa's they bring in roster that's not the best service.

This hobby can destroy you if you let it get out of hand. Treat it as a transaction and use it in moderation.

Exactly. And a bit stigmatizing if I’m being honest.

I’m glad you retracted it somewhat but this notion that escorts must have some drug issues or daddy issues is just bullshit.

Plenty of drug users and alcoholics working in the mainstream world and yet you never hear that most lawyers bad people who are alcoholics.

This was a thread about what you have learned and clearly this is not something you have “learned” so I don’t know why it was there in the first place to be honest.

What I have learned.

The internet has made this so much safer and accessible for women and men alike. It provides a safer means of companionship. Whether it's a professional buisness model with websites and contact forms, to likeminded communities like TERB MERB PERB CAF or LYLA. The days of newspaper ads or street strolls are long in the past. Yes there will always be a risk, but. Both or should I say ALL genders can now look and create tripwires to ensure one's safety and satisfaction. This may spark some criticism and or debate, but it's true.

If I was an attractive lady in my 20s. I would be all over this buisness. I don't have an emotional attachment to my job, and i would hazard a guess most of you dudes don't. Many of the ladies and most certainly those who are professional about it don't either. I don't think it's fair to paint them with the same brush and suggest they all have emotional, substance or as loosely suggested DADDY issues. That's a cheap generalization. It really is EASY MONEY if it's done correctly. Pro Athletes have a shelf life. So do Corteseans. So for those of you who bitch about prices. I hope you bitch about the price of Hockey tickets too. Wow that was long winded.

The most important thing I have learned about this hobby is.

RESPECT!!!!!

If you are a Narcissist you will always be a narcissist and I'm willing to bet your attitude is a direct reflection of what you get out of this hobby. As in life everything is a 2 way street. If your a dick, your a dick and you will never get the full attention of any lady. Especially in this transaction. And yes this is strictly a transactional relationship. It's a buisness. How many of you out there fall in love with your mechanic.

Lastly. What this hobby has taught me is. I am highly sexual and unfortunately my personal life has never garnished opportunity to explore these corners of my Psychology. I know I am by no means a freak. I know this and I am comfortable in my own skin, but. There are things in this hobby that allow me to act upon urges ideas and theories that I don't need to suppress. Men are highly visual as we know. This hobby has created a ton of satisfaction to the person I am today.

Sorry that was alot to download on you all. But I actually found some therapeutic value in getting that off my chest.

Cheers.

I generally agree with your first and second points. On the other hand, your other points should not have been a mystery to you.

3) Sex workers are people too, and sometime if its not a good session, might be due to personal issues they're having.

Were sex workers not people before you started this hobby? Everyone including you will always have personal issues.

4) A lot of women don't cum from penetration and oral is the only way, or a vibrator.

As with everything else it depends. If you're expecting sex to be like in movies / porn where people are screeching like animals, slamming on walls, agressiveness, etc. then you're probably going to be disappointed because not everyone is into that kind of thing. Some people might be, but others are not. You just have to learn to communicate.

5) All flesh is at its very basic level, is the same. Some looser some tighter.

You can see this walking around normally.

6) Out of 10 SP's I'd see, 2 are abysmal, 3-4 are ok and satisfactory, another 3 are very good, and at best 1 is fantastic.

See point 4

7) Pictures are almost always better than real life.

People are never going to look like their pictures compared to real life. Pictures are 2D representation that lack depth, weight, etc. There's no way to capture a living breathing 3D person in a 2D medium. Many girls obscure their faces or body parts so you have to imagine what they look like. Your imagination is never going to match reality. That problem exists for girls that show their face too.

8) For most SP"s this is strictly a job, and nothing more and they have a limited time they can do this, until younger ones com into the industry.

That's true of all jobs and not unique to this industry.

9) Most of them have either daddy issues, or drug problems, or both.

What do you mean by "most" have these issues? As in 99%, 50%, 10%? Unless they tell you this information, there's no way you would know for sure.

10) Dicks are not consistent.

Human beings generally don't have the exactly the same height, weight, hair or eye color, or other measurements. Identical twins would be the exception, but even they would not have exactly the same dimensions because of lifestyle factors.

Here are some things that I think we should learn from this hobby and in life in general.

1. Learn to communicate what you want because no one can read your mind. If you can't say it out loud then you only have yourself to blame for not getting it.

2. Learn to take a no. Even if you say that you want something, the other person might not want to do it even when advertised.

3. Expect the unexpected. All people including you are late, don't feel well, can't always perform at the same level, etc. This isn't excusing bad behaviour, but you have to learn that people can and do stupid things all the time.

4. Have a backup plan. If you're commuting a long way (or even a short way) for an appointment, then have a backup plan if things don't pan out. Can you do something else in the area like run errands, visit friends, or just enjoy the neighborhood while you're in the area?

That any relationship is an exchange of some sort of value. For men using sps it's an upfront cost that has been negotiated before the interaction occurs. Probably the easiest and most transparent relationship between men and women.

Learnt a lot about different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities as well as the female body and mindset. In "normal" life it is not possible to be this intimate with so many different women. Although its mostly superficial, you still get some special moments where you can pick up some mental and physical notes. Some of the barriers just come down more easily when you are naked in bed together.

Regarding the pictures. Of course real life and photos will not compare. My issue mainly comes when it's night and day. Where they look so different that they have no business claiming that's them.

Dick consistency I meant performance wise, sometimes isnt the most cooperative, even if there is physically nothing wrong with oneself.

Of course I know they are people, I didn't mean they were aliens..but since I always see them as their SW identity, and I don't go into their personal life, I sometimes forget that they might have shitty days too since the expectation is there that they should be professional and please you.. and I only started to realize this when I got to know them a little better, it just became easier to understand and learn not to be so harsh and take it's personally when they have a bad attitude.

Thanks for sharing though anybody's point of view is always informative and helpful.
