So some guy spends just a little time here 'cause it reminds him of his home country of Scotland, and all of a sudden we claim him as our own? Frankly I find that kind a pathetic canadian trait; like reminding people that captain Kirk was a canuck when he's spent most of his life in California, has had American wives and considers himself american. Ditto for Jim Carrey.woolf said:Well, it's true that he wasn't a Canadian, but he spent much of his later years summering in Cape Breton, inventing things and working with the deaf including Hellen Keller.
Jim Carey spent most of his life in Canada. He grew up and went to high school in Burlington.FOOTSNIFFER said:So some guy spends just a little time here 'cause it reminds him of his home country of Scotland, and all of a sudden we claim him as our own?
