After Trump, there is a good possibility that the GOP will splinter, temporarily until they find a unifier.
Certainly a possibility. If Trump loses again, you need to wonder what the power brokers will do. I mean, he lost 2018 (mid-term), 2020, 2022 (mid-term) and maybe 2024. How do you let him lead the party when he can't seem to win? At some point they will decide to shut him down. I know Rupert Murdoch felt that way in the wake of 2020, had the NY Post write an editorial telling him it was over and such....but then allowed his Faux friends to spread disinformation and cost the company nearly $780 million (and who knows what Smartmatic might get)....So, once bitten, twice shy?

As MAGA continues to purge the party of anyone not loyal to their orange god-king, the party shrinks to only cult members. MAGA is not driven by ideology or even principles, it's a cult of personality driven by rage, anger and hatred. In most cases MAGA isn't even concerned with governing, just maintaining and gaining power.

So what happens anytime a cult leader dies, will it splint or create it's own party. One thing is for sure, MAGA/Trump supporters will want someone also in the mode of dumb Donald. Someone who can play upon their perceived grievances and anger with a touch of charisma.

Everybody should know the old GOP is dead, it's not Reagan's party anymore. It's a party driven by the right-wing media industry, who preach a diet of lies, propaganda, fear and hatred.
I think you have misinterpreted things. MAGA actually is ideologically driven. There was a lot of angst against the status quo coming off the Obama years and Trump simply took advantage of that and funneled it into MAGA. Trump has a lot of faults, but it was a brilliant maneuver on his part to exploit that angst, and no one saw it coming. It's why he has the Christian vote even though he's not exactly an avid Christian (they call him a baby Christian). You can call them "perceived grievances" if you want, but that's just because you're partisan. Those grievances were widespread enough to get Trump elected for four years. Christians have been demonized for decades, and their values have been mostly ignored by establishment Republicans, and opposed by Democrats. It's not surprising that they would turn to Trump when he's the first one in awhile to legitimately listen to them.

You're right in that Trump has become a cult leader. I think that legitimate angst has warped into a rabid cult, and Trump was the one who curated it. It's some scary shit. But it's also not the only cult. MAGA and Progressives...both cult-like. You see it in the fervor of the supporters. Driven by social media and propagandist machines. We live in troubling times....

The only ideology is to follow whatever their fearless leader wakes up and believes on any particular day. Not really more complicated than that.

By this time next year, Israel will have carried out most of their mission towards eradicating Hamas from inside Gaza. A ceasefire may not be necessary or maybe moot as Hamas will have lost all military capabilities in Gaza .
Trump if elected will probably claim success for achieving a ceasefire though.

By next year the genocide trial will be ongoing at the ICJ and sanctions will be hitting Israel, zionism will be hated globally.

I could tell you either weren't too bright or just downright ignorant when you said that MAGA doesn't have an ideology.

Not sure if you know but MAGA stands for "Make America Great Again". This means putting America first, rather than sending taxpayer money to fight proxy wars overseas. It is in contrast to the democrats' globalist agenda.

Man I should be getting paid for this.

Now, off to see my favorite escort for a knobwash. Goodnight gentlemen.
MAGA is a slogan that has been used before. MAGA agenda is whatever Trump wants and he only thing Trump is putting first is himself and his cronies with his agenda of lies, graft, grift and standing up for Putin. Trump if POTUS again, and Michael Flynn could start a war with Iran and the MAGA cult would be all for it.

If you want talk about foreign wars, the last I remember the great Republican hero G. W. Bush started a wholly unnecessary war with Iraq. The GOP and right-wing media was all gung-ho for that DEBACLE, not democrats. Yeah, MAGA doesn't want foreign wars, because they keep talking about CIVIL WAR!

You must be happy with the possibility of Trump winning. Michigan's anti-Israel crowd getting Trump elected is not much different than people who back Hamas and their perpetuation of violence.

Maybe. The Pretenders will squabble over Trump's legacy. De Santis, maybe Greg Abbott. A few others.

The GOP is now irrecoverably a populist party, not a conservative party.

Libtards don't seem to grasp that dictators knew wnot to mess with Trump and therefore didn't go after any territory while in office due to the fact that he would strike back 1000 times worse.

The USA/Biden Admin is now in a proxy war via Ukraine vs. Russia and Israel vs. Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran. This could potentially escalate us to World War 3 if China chooses to. Canada will then send troops to die before the USA enters last minute to end things like in WW1 and WW2.

Thankfully, Trump will win in November and if not, we are all screwed.

Our former PM (conservative, Malcolm Turnbull) said Trump was like a little first year student fawning over putin like he was captain of the football team.

Not at all.
What would have made me happy is if Biden supported international law and not genocide.

You can't vote to support genocide.
Never again.
I think you've heard that slogan before, though you are totally against it now.

In actual fact, Trump sucked every dictator's dick so often and so good that they didn't want to piss him off in case he stopped doing CIMSW for them.
