Parking underground is safe... as long as I don't go anywhere near them.

The sight lines mean you don't really know where the front and back ends, it's all guess work and it lacks cameras and various do dads. Also it's a pretty tight space even in the non parking spaces [at least for the Mercury Disable. I have 0 issues parking in above ground lots. Street parking isn't an issue because all the spots are filled up. In Montreal for some reason I can always find a spot on the street that I can just slide into to with no problems, but then that could be a time of day issue.
I've been driving for over 30 years with no problem, I just don't parrelel park or do underground parking. But sure I guess it is perfectly reasonable to stop all driving??? Heaven forbid I just acknowledge my limits and drive within them.

Same reason I didn’t work DT when in Ottawa. Offices are closed. It is a pain to get DT, find parking etc.
