I dont get stressed anymore. I have adopted an attitude that if i cannot do anything about a situation. Then it is in my best interest to accept the situation and try to make the best of it. I also believe that things happen for a reason and we are the most adaptable creatures on the planet to change if we accept it and move on.:cool:

I used to go out all hours of the night, but now if I have something that really bothers me, I just do not answer my phones, emails, or other messages and sleep it off.

I tend to go for a drive. get lost, explore new places or revisit old favourite locations.

If I can't drive I usually end up with a notebook and a pen. whatever is on my mind ends up on the paper and I usually end up with a new perspective on what was bugging me.

If either of them don't work or If I really need an "escape" I visit an MP or an SC.

Take it out on the message boards, irritating people even more than usual.

Walk or pace around enclosed spaces, sometimes shoadowboxing while dwelling on my stress and making it even worse.

Try to distract myself with excessive internet browsing & research.

Try to distract myself by attempting to watch whatever on TV, wether it interests me or not.

Go for aimless walks or drives between 2:00-4:00 AM, or to a supermarket.

for me reading is the best solution but if it's at night and I can't sleep I'll recreate ski runs from my favorite hills and follow them turn by turn till I fall alseep.

I never seem to fall either,
