Pick a "brand" but you must serve green tea. Hot and Iced.

Speaking of iced ...

I had a lovely iced tea from Timothy's yesterday. It was peach flavoured, made with green tea. Very tasty and highly recommended!

I'd love to give out a TERB discount to all of you guys but the restaurant does not belong to me but to a close friend of mine. (he is not a TERB member because he only sees Candy at Studio9 once in a while so he isn't a very good source of reviews)

The place serves great Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. I'll ask him about starting a TERB member/MPA/MP discount and post his answer later. He probably will.
...
If discount offered, I'm sure there would be at least 20 Goodtimes showing up every day. Hoping to catch glimpse of MP beauties, I mean MPA cutties. My fantasy session, dine and spent time with a sensistive lady...

The owner should consider computers on each table with Wi-Fi connections so we can be on Terb while feasting.

On the menu, Italian Belly pepper to go with the Philly Cheese steak, broiled 1.5lb Altantic lobster with melted butter and New England Clam Chowder. Goodtime would livee at the eatery, if they serve Borch soup HK-style and mee goring, she know it as Indonesian noodles.

Haven't seen your review lately, thought you may have run off with a hot stewardess... :)

Going by brands might be a bit deceptive. E.g. lots of companies make say Earl Gray tea, but the brand that makes the best one does not necessarily also make the best English Breakfast tea.

I bet there are websites that can help you with this. Do a search because a buddy of mine found a place on Queen St that specializes in selling tea. Perhaps picking the brains of the people who work there might be a good idea. My guess is that the high end teas won't come in a bag with a string.

The Best Green Tea On The Market!

Just trying to stock a Restaurant with some good tea.

To be honest, I'm not a tea guy and I need some advice from you guys.

Everybody seems to be pushing Bigelo and Red Rose.

What brand of tea is your favourite?

Please Help.

Health wise?

By far, hands down the BEST tea for you is something I discovered by a Doctor called Green Tea Plus http://www.greenteaplus.com/

You will be amazed how great it tastes unlike a conventional Green Tea product that tastes bitter. This tea (see info on this) not only tastes great the health benefits are amazing!

I've been using this product for months and it's been amazing! ;)

I love tea. I've tried hundreds of brands from everywhere in the world.

My favorites are Fortnum & Mason (UK, official suppliers to the Monarchy) and Island Rose (Bahamas, in particular, their Rum Vanilla black tea).

Both are so good, I've ordered cases of each over the net!

Earl Grey

Earl Grey is my fav, black. Twinings is best popular commerical brand I come across. Bigelow's Earl Grey is bland for my taste. Most Harney & Son's Herbal flavors are decent.

From the Guy on Queen st. W but I don't sell tea...

Stay away from (these tea)

Since I'm taking a break from S9, this review may be questionable.

Stay away from Twinings' Blackcurrant Ginseng & Vanilla (in pink wrapper) and Korean Solomon's Seal Tea or Schizandra fruit tea. Got it from a 'friend' as she knows I'm tea drinker. Taste like cough med. She tells me later, she didn't like it either but hoping my preference would be different. :p

Now for Red Stiletto's stories...I better brew up some loose leaf, Oolong, iron goddess, or jasmine? Which to choose, hm...

Goodtimes, did you get served tea at S9 and why are you taking a break from that place? My favorite tea is a Darjeeling blend from Harrods and also I like Ginseng tea. Anyone tried Ganja tea? It is said to be good to treat narrow angle glaucoma.

Ganja is actually great for Glaucoma. It reduces interoccular pressure (cause of pain in the eyes) and also reduces nausea, especially for some patients receiving chemotherapy.

It's also good for "Spiritual Healin when searchin for answers from almighty Jah"

Can you get this Tea in Toronto or do I have to go to Amsterdam with a box of balloons?

Compasionate clubs in the GTA sell ganga, without interference from the police. People with certain medical conditions, multiple sclerosis, cancer,
HIV etc, are allowed to have ganga for personal consumption due to a recent court ruling. Ontario physicians can now legally prescribe ganga so you can make ganga tea, legally if you have certain medical conditions. Ask your doctor today.

No one for Stash? Double bergamot Earl Grey and Double spice Chai, so good and more bang for the buck. Comes in individual foil packets to keep the good stuff in.

As for loose tea, I usually buy lapsang souchongs. I may have to try some of the blends espoused on that Vancouver Tea website.

How to enjoy your tea.

If you would like to enjoy tea, then here is a tip for begginers. If you have a type of tea that you like and want to try other teas. Mix the new tea with the tea that you enjoy drinking. E.G. place a Salada tea bag into you pot and place a tea spoon of Oolong tea and steep together, this way you will get a lighter Oolong as well as the tatse of your regular tea. Increase the Oolong content as you start to enjoy the new taste.

I used to love Twining's 'Currant' tea but I lost my taste for it a couple years ago. I've like the Tazo teas I've had (their black tea is a real jolt), but they might be pricey for a restaurant

If the restaurant prides itself on cheese steaks, the brand of tea is not going to matter to patrons. Just something black, made with very hot water. And offer a jasmine or camomile, for the left-of-centre crowd.

In terms of breaks, client-mpa privilege. ie: Have to take the 5th Amendment.

For Asian tea lovers,

and Book of Tea

BTW, for nasuea, ginger slice is just as effective. Li-zhi & aloe drinks are good to help body heal, replenish destroyed demaged cells after chemo.

Your typical lorry driver or construction worker back across the pond (ie. in England) would be brewing up a pot of breakfast tea. It's the basic British tea, being a blend of cheaper leaves, unperfumed, hearty and tasty. Not nearly as exotic as that fancy orange pekoe stuff we hoity toity colonials drink!!! Only in Canada, eh?
