My favourite female artist. Did a great album in Spanish. Too bad she ended up with Parkinson's.
No, don't know her. This song was not my favourite recording by Linda. To me her best song was a cover of an old standard by Nelson Riddle called WHAT'S NEW. It really showed what kind of a powerful and great voice she had.
Betty Everett recorded The Shoop Shoop Song[Its In His Kiss]......she also recorded a duet with Jerry Butler..Let It Be Me.....at one point they performed the song live... Betty was ill and did not have much time left and Jerry was aware of that..............i try to be a tough hardened old bird..but when i listen to that song i become very sad and teary eyed

According to the documentary Laurel Canyon, Linda Rondtadt played a major role in the formation of The Eagles, Glen Frey and Bernie Leadon were part of her back up band. When the second album (Desperado) failed to sell, she lent a hand.
