Get a shotgun.

Seriously read the Dog Owners Liability Act, pit bulls are illegal in Ontario.
If it really was a bull mastif, that's different from a pitbull. One had a starring role as "The Beast" in the "The Sandlot". Great movie with a fantastic chase scene! Just don't hit your prized baseball into his backyard.

To be kind she is an absolute head-case.

To be unkind [ but honest ] she is an abnoxious and sickening creature.
And very sadly they let her return again to probably do what she's done in the past. Hopefully not but if she does let's hope her ban is 100% permanent. That should have been done the last time.

Go grocery shopping, and hit the Home Hardware as part of the trip.

Make up meat ball - combo of raw ground beef, peanut butter and rat poison.

Leave them in your back yard. On your side of the property line.

Dog would never find them if it was kept on leash.
Except that this is probably highly illegal, even on your own property.

That might take out unintended target most likely.
