The signs on the highway all went blank..instead of saying "collector lanes closed at Avenue Road" there was nothing they were all blank....It made drivers uneasy, something was happening. Some pulled over to the side of the road and waited, sweating. Others slowed down afraid to pass the next one too quickly....

Suddenly, just one of them blinks to life:

"There are more things on heaven and earth

... and just the slightest hint of "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes wafts through the air...
