I think the US is clearly better with Hull out of the lineup and out of the dressing room (I haven't read that he's back, so I'll assume he's still out).
This should be a pretty good game - lots of hitting - may turn nasty.
I give a goaltending edge to the Finns, but not a huge one. Defensively (overall - not just the D) I like them, too - they actually have a system in place. But, especially if Tkachuk is going ape again, the offensive edge goes to the States.
I'll take the Finns, but only because (despite the game against Germany), they're playing better as a team.

In the other, uh, lemme see - Canada. But the Czechs are a good team. This one may be *really* nasty.

I'd be stupid not to take the Canucks. Better in every area. But will Jagr show up or is he too hurt?

Nasty in terms of physical play and stickwork. I don't think either game is likely to be a blowout, but all four teams are capable of playing dirty if they start losing badly.

whadda game... almost the whole game was played in Canada's own end... I think shots were something like 40-25 for the Czech's...

but Lecavelier got a beauty... thank God!

Definately deserved to lose that. Thank god we didn't.

As a hockey fan, I have to say, it would of been a great story if the Czech Replic won the tourny, but as a Canadian, I gotta say, GO CANADA!!!

How can you say we DESERVED to lose that? Canada maybe didnt get as many good scoring opportunities or shots on goal but they played well and Luongo played great! They came through and won the game. They deserved to win because they fought through the hard skating and tough forechecking of the Czechs

BTW watching the final goal..can you imagine if Lecavalier was a right handed shot? No way he would have been able to score that one. Good position and good luck = FINALS
