IMHO

Strip clubs................Very expensive compared to GTA
casinos.....................I do not gamble so I stay away.
hoover dam..............OK, I guess
red rock canyon........Since you are so close, why not the Grand Canyon.

stratosphere.............Just a high place, nice shark aquarium at the Mandalay Bay nearby.

So head down to Freemont for the free light show on the street. And the gambling and food are more reasonably priced there.

The Sphere just opened and there is a 49 buck show, about 45 minutes that shows off the capabilities of it. Apparently the cheap seats for this are as good as more expensive ones.

Grand Canyon is 5+hours away. And is an all day event. We did it by plane. Much better.

If you are looking for a spa day we did the one at Bellagio. Fantastic all around.

Cirque shows are the best. Recommend both Ka(More Martial in theme), O (Water themed) on the higher end. Mystare on the lower end. Pay the money here for good seats, you won't regret it.

Avoid the magic and comedy shows, Blue man group, all are over rated. Topless shows are fun and pretty standard.

If you have more specific questions let me know. I go a few times a year.

Check out the bunny ranch. I went there 10 years back and you get to pick the girl from a lineup. Owner Dennis passed away but the girls are still nice. Also check out circa casino.

Ah Vegas, Expect to spend a lot of money. Everything just costs extra there, there are even hidden service charges. If you are a foodie check Gordan Ramsey burger.

I heard about this place and decided to check it out. I phoned them up and asked if they had a schmeisser MP40. Yes they did. Fire off 3 clips for $30.00 I seem to remember. It was something to check off my list of things to do in life as Siegfried and Roy were two German products who seemed to be on some kind of hiatus .
Anyway after shooting away, to make small talk I asked my attendant if it was legal to own a machine gun in Nevada. He told me that there were over 20,000 registered machine gun owners in Las Vegas at the time.
Hoover Dam is worth a look. Scenery sucks, unless you like barren desert. Stay inside the casinos.
First time I went was back in the 80's. Checked the yellow pages for working girls. Starting at $400. Passed. Guy at the motel saw BC plates and asked which state that was in. I told him where it was. Said it was close to Seattle Washington. Got a blank look. Didn't know where that was either.

TO @poker you have to understand that each Casino is a theme park of its own. Meaning, The Paris hotel inside tried to make it look like France.
Belagio and Venice - Italy? I am happy I walked inside each hotel to see the themes, I think that took like four hours to do 80% hotels WHEN I went in 2005.

I been to Las Vegas many times before ( to pick up or drop the auto) but only to depart or arrive by plane to do the Grand Canyon and other National/State Parks which have great views.
But the first time I went I did the Plane ride to see the Canyon.

I am glad I did LV, also within 2 hours the first time. After that it was outside LV to see the scenery and that is a full day on its own.

The Freemont is a 900pm show, I went during the day time and at night by city bus.

I didn't bother with escorts although I did check the the yellowpages.

Don't gamble, it will cost you big If you want a 3 for 1 deal, hobby and SC in Canada. Don't go to SCs and hobby on LV, 3 to 5 times as expensive. Never talk to street hawkers, they do not have anything good to offer. Nothing is free. Only buy discount last minute tickets from authorized vendors. Check at your hotel consierge for the best places to buy tickets. Do not take any gifts or cards from people on the street. they will obligate you to pay. Never take a pic on the street with people in costume they will want $80-$100 from you. See the sights. If you do the buffets, do it for brunch or dinner and eat light the rest of the day. You can only handle 1 buffet every 3 days. You are close enough, so do San Francisco while you are there. The 2 weeks just before and after Christmas you will find about 60% of the crowds have stayed home.

I was thinking of doing Vegas I'm taking a car to la . It's actually cheaper that way

I know there's still a free drinks it as long as you gamble. Drunk players are ehat they want. How about the deals on food? I hear they are gone.

If you do gamble make sure you don't want too much or you'll be baned.

Las Vegas in the last cheap place you can get to . How do I use it to stop overpoint to go to Asia?

On the strip deals are pretty much gone. If you are going in by car I highly recommend you check out thr Southpoint Casino and resort. Free parking, reasonable room rates, about 14 food venues on sight.

Great buffet, a poker room, great Prime rib place, also Asian food place. Seafood place with day specials on oysters etc. Locals casino so also has reasonable tables, and a top sports book. Located on Las Vegas blvd maybe 15 minutes from the strip proper. Easy Uber there.

About 4 hours drive to LA. This is imo your best option.
