There is a strip mall behind the Flamingo and just to the right of Bally's if your are looking at the strip. There is a restaurant called Battista's. It is Italian, but it is one of those restrauants that you have been to Vegas unles you have been to Battistas. The menu is on the wall and there is free red and white wine with your meal. The free or included Cappacino at the end of the meal is to die for. I recommend it.

Mon Ami Gabi is the place of choice for steaks at Paris-Las Vegas across from the Bellagio. Someone also mentioned the upstairs restaurant at Harrahs which was surprisingly great with a gorgeous night time view. Harrah's is not a particularly nice casino but that restaurant is top tier.

the bellagio buffet is pretty spectacular, but so it the one at the wynn. any of the buffets at the high end casinos are going to be great, but they are also pricey.

Two celebrity chefs opened up a mexican restaurant in mandalay bay. It was excellent 3 years ago. If it is still there, it is worth a try
The only mexican I see there is the Border Grill?

I was planning to go to Aureole to see the wine angels in action so that's a possibility.

This is great stuff. I'll definitely have to ask the TERB Travel Committee to help plan my fall vacation too! LOL.

Can't remember the name but there's a restaurant near the Bellagio overlooking the foundations, it's really good. The buffet at Bellagio is excellent too.

For a real fine dining experience you can try either of Michael Mina's restaurants. I have eaten at both in San Francisco and it is spectacular! Also age at the MGM one. Fantastic. This is higher end dining. Complex flavours and several small courses in some cases. 2-3 hours needed. I think he has a 2nd location in Bellagio. Just google his name and the website comes up. You can prereserve on it too!

Mon Ami Gabi? I already made a reservation, but they don't hold tables for the patio. Guess I'll need to have Benjamin speak to the maitre d for me.....

Picasso or olives overlook the fountains. Le circque may as well - haven't been there.

Mon Ami Gabi is good but not what I would call great.

Did a quick google but could not determine which did you mean re: Vegas supper club?
More info please

My mistake....had supper club on my mind.

Look up the "downtown cocktail room"

http://thedowntownlv.com/

Its just a few steps removed from Freemont St....

You have to look for the door....which is part of the fun...but truly a neat speakeasy for the after dinner cocktail!
