I have repeatedly stated exactly the same thing.

I have repeatedly made a distinction between essential (jobs) and non-essential (optional) but you don't seem to comprehend my English.

I don't agree even with the separation. Don't try to insult my intelligence simply because you don't like my opinion.

All of it is forced in my opinion. But at least you apparently see that losing jobs is making it force.

But I will go back and read your posts to get a better idea of your overall stance in case I have it wrong.

Why are you talking about proof of a booster shot when Canada hasn't yet allowed for any booster shots? You are like chicken little claiming the sky is falling. I believe in the new year we will commence booster shots but no employer in Canada or the US is asking anyone for proof of booster shots. Once again, you are the beacon of misinformation.

Now read what Chicken little wrote all because he doesn't want to get jabbed. His employer will probably do A because he isn't going to demand a booster shot as if employers are already setting up for asking for booster shots. Do you know of anywhere at the present time this is happening in North America?? If you do, please provide a link. Again, sure, it can happen and if boosters are introduced I'll go as far and say it should happen but it isn't as of yet.

Will it happen, it might if boosters are being implemented and people like JC are avoiding it. Then I'm all for mandate it and I'd like to see all employers have a vaccination policy or you're out!

That's my understanding, too. AND, I've been asking for it for the last couple of months. My employer will probably put it in place instead of demanding proof of the booster shots. The unreliable efficacy of the vaccines(drop to 20%) after 5-7 months(New England Journal of Medicine 2021 10 06) negates the assumption that the 100% vaccination rate will protect the office from an outbreak.

I agree, I hate that I can't take my car on the 401 at 2 am when the roads are empty and feel its power at its top speed. Vaccine passports are definitely not an infringement on people's rights.

People still have the right to refuse to put something in their body they don't want to. Until government agents come to their door, restrain them and inject the vaccine against their will into their arm, their rights are not being violated.

People are free to believe lies, conspiracy theories and anti-science rhetoric about "evil vaccines". That's their right.

These people, however, do NOT have the right to endanger other people and keep this pandemic going because they choose to believe in junk science and conspiracies.

This is what fucks me off to no end about these people: they don't want to be vaccinated, they don't want to wear masks, they don't want to social distance BUT they also demand an end to lockdowns and any and all restrictions.

Well, you can't have it both ways.

Vaccines are the best tool we have to prevent COVID infection and stop the spread. Vaccines are also not 100% foolproof. While people who are double-vaccinated will almost certainly not get seriously ill or succumb to the virus, they can still pass it on to others, including vulnerable people who cannot receive the vaccine for medical reasons.

If you want to see what loose restrictions and laissez-faire attitudes towards COVID looks like, look at Alberta. The Alberta health system is on the brink of collapse because of lower than average vaccination levels and few restrictions this past summer.

And what's worse, other provinces, like Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia, are being asked to potentially take care of these people who are clogging up ICUs, simply because they didn't want their precious freeDUMBs violated by taking a vaccine or staying home to stop the spread.

The fringe minority does not and should not get to call the shots.

Vaccines have decreased infections, hospitalizations and death. The sooner everyone is vaccinated the sooner we get our lives back.

You provide no options to dealing with people who refuse to help the most definitive way possible. You got a vaccine because you know that it is the best way to end the pandemic.

The anti-vaxxers are forcing us to accept their unnecessarily prolonged time frame. We have no options to that. They have two options. Get vaxxed or deal with the repercussions.
