and...........

Yes, I guess some do. And I think that's wrong. But two wrongs don't make a right.
What's the second wrong?

What concerns me is having a customer say "I did this and this and this with JoyfulC" and then having every customer thereafter expect not only to get that same level of service (which I never advertised!) or worse, to get that same level of satisfaction from a session that the reviewer felt. Those are sometimes big shoes to fill.
Okay if there is not going to be some conventions to protect the client from unscrupulous sp's then I suppose the only recourse is to let market forces rule and to find "that sp" with whom a guy clicks or at least one who has the gift.

And I guess some guys will continue to get a different level of services than others for the same buck. I did see an interesting approach with one Montreal agency (Sexyxxx). Two prices are quoted, one for "normal Service" and one for "GFE Service". This not only affords the client a choice to request but an opportunity for the sp to state that only normal service is available for the evening.

Now I do understand your point, don't get me wrong. You are human and can be strongly attracted to one client more than the other and find it easy to give more of yourself or simply find it easier with more attractive clients generally. Or some guys are just better lovers, more sensual. Whatever. In any event I am mostly playing "Devil's Advocate" here as for the most part it is not an issue for me. I'm sure that you provide an unforgettable experience. You have a wonderful approach.

I believe that this inequity happens in any customer service business. If a guy goes into a corner coffee shop, but he is well-groomed, pleasant, charming perhaps, he's a lot more likely to get top-notch service than the guy who goes into the 5-star restaurant drunk, arrogant, stinking of BO and being belligerant with the server. To some degree, as customers, we have control over our outcomes.

But that's not to say we have complete control. I've gone to highly recommended restaurants on their busiest night of the year and felt I was treated like just another number to be gotten in, fed, and shoved out the door. And like all of us, there've been times when I've paid a high price for something, with high expectations of satisfaction, only to be disappointed in the attitude and quality I got in return.

So I don't think it's just this business. Anytime you're dealing with people, your satisfaction is going to fall within a range.

"Click" is so very important, I think! A customer and an SP might both be really terrific people, but if there's no click between them, then they should shake hands and go their separate ways, neither having wasted more than their time.

I like the part about "neither having wasted more than their time." I do agree with that. It is unfortunate that many sp's insist that by the time this is realized that even if they have only chatted up to then, the situation has reached the point of no return and a full fee is due. I have read accounts where the driver is called to threaten the client and so forth. I definitely do not want to sound negative in our discussion and I do look for the best in people. I do feel that some of these things have to be brought out and disussed openly. This will improve things for all.

I repeat that I do appreciate your wonderful take on sp'ing. You are a model for those who are lacking in the integrity department. Perhaps we can continue this sometime to explore the idea of clicking in greater depth;).
