Let him. As much as I enjoyed Aikido as a sport, it's useless in a real fight. There are tons of videos of guys who know Aikido getting their ass kicked in fights online, and in the ones where they did win, they are either obviously staged fights, or the Aikido guy isn't using Aikido techniques to win.

I think using 1950's tanks could work if they could get Ukraine to waste NLAWs on tanks their great grandparents might have driven. $40 grand for one anti-tank round is pretty pricey way to take out a tank that was just sitting in a junkyard. But I'll assume Ukrainian troops know the economics and use something far cheaper to get the job done.

They have enough Javs and NLAWs to waste every tank in use and storage twice over. I am guessing plenty of them are overkilling APCs and other non tank vehicles.
However in a combined attack, everyone one that is taken out means a better tank lives longer. Also minefields like the old trick of marching penal battalions over minefields but more tanky.
