I know what Trump wouldn't do. He wouldn't sit on his hands while China went into business with Russia or Saudi Arabia turned away from its partnership with America. He wouldn't keep quiet while Macron was sucking up to Xi. Actually, this is a bullshit premise. Trump would never allow America to become a vassal state of fucking Ukraine nor would he commit America to a never ending war.

He would have probably dismantled NATO or at the very least refused to support NATO involvement in Ukraine. There would have been no war in the first place. Nor would Macron be sucking up to Xi etc.,
I don't think he would dismantle NATO. He's shtick was "pay your share". But, of course that's purely academic. Putin would have never moved with Trump in the White House because Trump would have never pushed for inclusion of Ukraine in NATO.
Thats what I mean, he wouldn't have ever encouraged NATO involvement with Ukraine and the entire thing would have lost steam and war wouldn't have broken out.
