Someone who has never followed the war could be led by
posts like these to decide Ukraine must be on the winning
side of the conflict with Trump and Putin being the losers
to be humiliated by the hero Zelensky. Never mind Russia
has grabbed 20% of Ukraine's territories, Zelensky has sacrificied
Ukraine's mineral wealth to Trump and Ukraine has suffered
casualties nearing a million; Pro-Ukraine sheeple and Zelensky
fanboys would carry on cheering Ukraine to the last combat-fit
Ukrainian.

So much for holding cards, ICBMs etc.,
Thorough humiliation for both Trump and Putin lmfao.
Russia has been pounding its puny dick on Ukraine for 3 years with little to show for it. Nothing's going to change, except 1 or 2 of Putin's Air Force guys are going to fall out of windows.
You have still not been able to answer the basic question why all the "pummelling" Russia has done with their "superior" numbers, with help from multiple countries, including the orange pissant in diapers from the shit hole down south, has still not earned them a decisive victory.
Hey, Komrad!

You remember 2 years ago when you explained to me that Russia had over a million men in its armed forces and that meant it would crush puny Ukraine and the puny, degenerate, capitalist West within a month??

😹 😹 😹 😹 😹 😹 😹 🥴

The big picture is - drones becoming so cheap and effective, it will change a lot of defence thinking.
What if the Chinese or Russians inside the USA have set up groups to do similar and one day unleash an attack on Offut AFB where lots of bomber command exists? Or a terrorist group of some sort decide to attack the Capitol or some presidential speech out in public?
Wee bit of a game changer...

Both the U.S. and Russia would better from now on hide
their nuclear capable strategic bombers from satellite monitoring
by their rivals to avoid destruction of their nuclear weapons
by drones. Terrorist groups would only be able to inflict damages
on targets of low strategic value.

? put down the crack pipe.
So 77 years of occupation, 14 years of blockade and apartheid, hundreds of settler terrorist attacks and new land theft in Palestine don't count as provocation?

Why do people think Ukraine has the right to self defence against Russian occupation but that its terrorism if Palestinians resist Israeli occupation?

It's nothing to do with the colour of their skin. Source: I'm lying.

Canada should really stop buying old school weapons already.
How many drones can you buy for one fighter?

Except the Russians occupied 30% of Ukraine in the first 2 weeks of the war and then the Ukrainians rolled the Russians back to 19% and then Russia managed to occupy another 1% of Ukraine in another 3 years of fighting and also lost 1M guys.

And the Ukrainians are the good guys.

Bullshit.

There was NO requirement that Russia keep its bombers in the open. Never a component of the agreement and Russia withdrew from that agreement in 2023.

What do you mean by serious?
Um, losing 100's of millions of dollars in high tech aircraft to a few thousand bucks in drones through a finely planned and executed attack is serious. It showed a complete vulnerability that really now every nation will have to look into.

It's serious because now every truck and shipping container is a threat.

This is like a Russian pearl harbour... how did that work out for the Japanese? Russia has almost 100 TU-22's and about 60 TU-95 in service with 40 in storage. The TU-160 is back in production. For the war they probably use about 10-12 % of their strategic bombing fleet in each strike and don't even carry full loadouts. So the impact on the pummeling will probably be much heavier pummeling. The planes doing the most damage are the SU 24 30, 34, 35 dropping glide bombs on fortified positions. Its possible they lost 30-34 planes, but until we see daytime sat images we won't know. Those images posted could be a plane destroyed or a plane damaged with a lot of firefighting chemicals used. BUT even if its that many planes they can be replaced and Russia simply does not need that many for the war. A TU-95 can loft 8-10 cruise missiles so 10 planes is 80-100 missiles.
"Clean up, catastrophic mental trauma and cataclysmic emotional meltdown of epic proportions ongoing in Russian shit in a boxes/cans/bottles/diapers aisle."

Using drones in a terror attack is the new reality. for $1000 you can launch a precision guided attack from 20 km away. Its pretty scary

I think there needs to be new regulations. Drones should not be allowed to travel more then a 2 km radius from their launch site. UNLESS the user is a commercial licensee and files a fight plan with NavCan. All drones should have software that prevents this. Maybe even 1km.
