That further proves that Trump is a Russian asset.
Ukraine is in a bad spot because Trump has cut off all aid and intel.
Ukraine is not losing the war because flow of aid from the U.S. was cut
off for several days which was then restored.
Now he is using Russian talking points.
Using Ukrainian talking points when Ukraine is losing the war? I suggest
you look into historical details of the ceasefire negotiation between Germany
and the allied powers in WWI It is indeed true that Germany did try to negotiate
from the losing side using German talking points. But that was Germany
negotiating peace for Germany. As it turned out Germany's talking points of
the loser were next to useless in securing better terms and conditions. Outcome
of the negotiation were entirely one-sided to the advantage of the winner.
Germany could have used either German or French talking points and the result
would be the same. Of course it would have been dishonourable from Germany's
viewpoint for its representatives to take the side of France.
Ukraine's talking points would only be used if it is Zelensky himself
who is negotiating. Trump is not an ally of Ukraine which is just a proxy
of the U.S. It is more like Trump is using U.S. rather than Russian talking points.
He put them in a bad spot and is expressing fake concern while demanding to plunder Ukraine's natural resources.
He is literally acting as Putin's proxy.
I would agree that having to give away the nation's resouces sucks for Ukrainians. I'd also agree
that no other American president would stoop as low as Trump's feat of peace by extortion. But I
don't see how that makes Trump Putin's proxy. With Trump's mineral deal Putin is not going to be able
to plunder Ukraine's resources (in its unoccuppied territories). And in all likelihood Trump won't
let Putin put his wallet into America-controlled mines in Ukraine.
