Probably not worth the trouble and loss on exchange rate. Just sit on it for now. If the Americans ever think intelligently about covid we can open the border and spend it there. You can get a half a tank of gas.

I took mine to Vegas and used a coin counter.

Here i'd just sit on it and use them for road tolls on a NY State road trip.

Why bother to exchange such a small amount
Your $20 USD is only worth like $25 CAD
Most small places (or coin counters) will add fees to make the conversion pointless

Just spend the US coins here

You can get lots of Gift cards from Coinstar machines in the US, with no fee. Used the Coinstar at a Tops in Niagara Falls, NY, to get a US Amazon Gift card.

They have them in Canada plus other places. But..

I tried the math on 10 CDN and I would get back 8.40?
