I agree. But what's more disturbing is that few people have been disturbed by the lack of concern for the suspect.
That was my point. Of course I would have a little more empathy for a dog over a car. I just made that up to stir up emotions. A tongue in cheek comment even more ridiculous that what others have expressed in this thread.
It just strikes me as amusing in North American pet loving society that many animal lovers get more upset over the unfortunate death of a dog than a human being. Who according to the side note beside that clip was an undercover police officer. Who may have been a loved husband with kids. Guess some of you couldn't read that due to tears in your eyes over the k-9.
But it's me without empathy viewer?
This reminds me of that police horse that was hit by a car on duty last year here in Toronto. They had a virtual State funeral for an animal, remember? Hundred of people from cops to animal loving civilians attended this event. People weeping in the audience over the death of a horse.
If a homeless man/woman dies in the streets of our city what kind of send off do they get? Nothing near as extravagant as a Toronto police horse. To me thats all back wards.
Am I a twat Cobster for thinking that way?
I don't like dogs very much, this is true, however I would not wish harm on one.
I will always put greater value on a humans life over an animal. Criminal (if he actually was one) over K-9 included.
Anyone who still disagrees with that final statement is twisted. Not me.
