I guess reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit because I said a trained boxer. Does Chow really sound like a trained boxer to you?

“Chow, a 5ft 2ins former jockey, entered “The Battle of the Sexes” with a winless two-fight pro record, no known amateur background, a 5ins height disadvantage and, at 123lbs, conceded five pounds in weight.

Looking back, McGregor says: “He was physically stronger than the average woman boxer… but I was not the average woman boxer. It seemed Chow did not have a lot of ring experience. It went really well. I felt on top of the world.”
Looks like you need some reading training...he had two pro fights before that.

We're not talking about the experience & capability of the fighters. You can stop moving goal posts now.

Tell me you’ve never stepped into a gym or ring in your life without telling me you’ve never stepped into a gym/ring 😂
Says the guy who didn't read that Chow had two previous pro fights...which makes him a pro fighter.

Looks like you may have been hit in the head too many times if you ever stepped into the ring at all.

Reading comprehension isn’t their strong suit LOL. I guarantee that buddy’s never trained a day in his life and he’s coming on here acting like an expert on combat sports.
Says the keyboard warrior who can't read coming to the rescue of his girlfriend on a message board.

btw Chow had 2 previous pro fights. That makes him a pro fighter. I guess you missed that part. Too many heads shots in your day?

He lost 2 “pro” fights in 1996 to two guys who were a combined 0-5 and Chow had no amateur boxing history. I clearly said “trained male” vs “trained female.” With every organization sanctioning “pro” fights even Jake fucking Paul’s are “professional” fights.

I at least give Chow his props for having the heart to step into a ring. I know a nerd like you would never have the heart to and would quit just like Carini.

We're not comparing the quality and experience of the fighters. We're comparing man vs woman boxers.
The OP said it never happened. It did.
Try and keep up rather than changing the parameters of the argument.

Its egregious. And a mockery to sport. I haven't watched any Olympic coverage for this reason as well as the anti-Christian opening ceremonies.

It's not a plot twist and it's consistent with our position.

In this case, it's a woman deciding to fight men knowing she's going to get her ass beat because everyone knows women cannot fight men and win.

In the other case, it's female athletes being forced to compete against a man or intersex individual to win medals in a woman's competition.

Nobody has a problem with women trying to play in the NBA if they want to compete with men. If a woman is good enough to play with Lebron James, go ahead. In fact, women are allowed to play in the NBA... but not a single female basketball player in history has been competitive against top tier high school male players let alone good enough to qualify for college or the NBA.

But we'd have a problem with Lebron James crashing the WNBA... because he's going to dominate and the female competitors would be forced to compete against a man in a woman's league.

What this issue has brought to light is how many people struggle with basic logic and are in positions of power allowing insanity like this to occur.

So much for the trans advantage.
We've always said the advantage goes in one direction only - when a man claims to be a woman in order to compete against women.

Nobody on the planet has ever stated that a woman claiming to be a man will ever be able to compete against men successfully, because that would be absurd.

Man is stronger than woman. Why is this hard to understand in 2024? What makes 2024 different from all of human history and millions of years of evolution?

She's not a man.
Declaring her a man puts her in danger in Algeria, where there is serious anti trans hate.
Just like in every other intolerant Muslim country.

How many people in Algeria do you think read TERB? Skoob put her in no danger.

Did I say skoob put her in danger, shazi?
Your reading comprehension is getting worse and worse.
The right wing attack on her sexuality is what is putting her in danger.

Yes in numerous other threads on here about trans people competing in sports, it's always been pointed out that no one with any common sense would have any objection to biological women giving it a go against biological men. They would be at a clear disadvantage....Whereas the other way around there would be a clear advantage and it would unfair to the biological female competitors. It's pretty simple really but the radical leftists just don't seem to grasp this.

Let's recap...
- he was a male boxer fighting a female boxer
- he was considered pro having had at least 2 prior pro fights
- she won
- you claimed a woman couldn't beat a man in the ring
- she did

More examples...https://www.wbanmember.com/early-reports-of-mixed-boxing-in-1916/
Again for some reason you keep trying to change the narrative in order validate your flawed argument. As a friendly reminder here is the quote. Ghbff said specifically a "trained boxer who's a male". :

I guarantee you that a trained boxer who’s a male would NEVER lose to a trained boxer who’s a woman.
Now with regards to the new article you presented. It is very weak....... Again proves to me that you didn't read this. I suspect someone close to you is feeding you this information and you are just going along for the ride.

  1. Larry Rodania is an unknown kickboxer. Kickboxing and Boxing are two different sports. The reality is that a trained boxer male or female will have the advantage over a trained kickboxer in the same weight class while fighting under the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. The fight that took place was not a boxing match. I am curious seeing they used modified rules if any restrictions were put in place to stop Larry from using low kicks to the legs and thighs. That being said. Jackie Tonawanda is a pioneer in the female boxing as she broke down the barrier for females to compete which allowed for the development of a legimate female division in the sport.
  2. Marion Bermudez looks to be legit as it took place at the Golden Glove tournment. My only issue is that I can't find any boxing history (professional or amateur) on Edwardo Parras. The only thing I can establish was that he was on the high school wrestling team.
  3. Sue TL Fox fights were (i) boxing exhibition match against her karate instructor who is not a trained boxer, and (ii) a karate match against a police officer who is not a trained boxer or even in karate.
  4. The MacGregor vs Chow fight. MacGregor was originally suppose to fight Hector Morales (making his pro debut) but he pulled out as he was uncomfortable with the idea of fighting a female http://a.espncdn.com/boxing/news/1999/0916/61664.html . Morles sparring partner Chow decided to step in for the fight. He was a 5'2" jockey by trade with a 0-2 pro record and had not fought actively in over 3 years. According to ESPN 'Chow responded by bouncing away. He kept bouncing all over the ring, smiling and doing not much else. Chow, 0-3, hardly posed a worthy opponent. The 33-year-old from Vancouver threw punches awkwardly, covered up most of the fight, and landed only a few punches. ' - http://www.espn.com/boxing/news/1999/1009/106430.html . IMO this was a circus fight, Chow wasn't really a legit boxer and was more of a plant. However based on his 0-2 pro record I give you some credit for this particular fight.
  5. Regina Halmich vs Stefan Raab. Stefan Raab is TV Presenter and not a trained boxer.

What makes it different is the left using it as virtue-signaling wokeness.
