Fair enough, but the press in Canada hate Pierre anyway. The canadian press (with the exception of rebel news and true north), are all bought and paid for, by the liberals anyway!!
LOL. All the media, including Post Media, which is a very conservative chain of papers, hates PP???

Or possibly Trump is trying to make it sound as though he likes Carney with the hope that this turns voters towards Poilievre and the CPC.

Mark Carney is already standing up to Trump; Poilievre, on the other hand, is inexperienced which would make him easy to manipulate, exactly the sort of person Trump would prefer to deal with.
This is exactly what I think. I think Trump would love PP in power, because he might think (righty or wrongly) that as a conservative, he'd be more interested in working with Trump. That being said, I highly doubt he wants Carney to lead Canada. Trump would be outclassed by him in every area...Well, except lying...

A guy that has $25 million in blind funds and he does not know what is in it??? Surely he knows, this is $25 million.
But he doesn't control it anymore.

you obliviously dont have one dollar in the Dow or the NASDAQ
Mitch recently inherited over a million $$$$ and immediately spent it all on a collection of used red MAGA baseball caps. The price will double, maybe triple over time and Mitch will make a fortune!

Trump wants 1 thing and 1 thing only from other countries. That is for other country leaders to kiss his ass and praise him in public to stroke his ego. Basically kiss the ring.
If people can't see that they aren't to bright.
Exactly this. In contrast to what he says, Trump has no interest in "annexing" Canada -- but repeating this refrain over and over and over again keeps the attention on him and raises anxieties.

And I 100% blame the media for giving him this platform.

Every time he talks about "annexing Canada and making it the 51st state", every newspaper in the country jumps on it and posts a story about this.

Here's an idea for a news story or newspaper editorial: interview constitutional lawyers and experts in international law and get them to explain why "annexing" Canada is basically 100% impossible. You can't just take a country's land title because you want it; that's an act of war and in violation of NATO treaties and would prompt an international response.

And besides, we all know how shitty the Americans are at maintaining any control over the places they invade.

It is no secret that Trump disliked Poilievre and he made that clear.

Sounds like an endorsement to me...He doesn't seem to like Poilievre at all.

Good for Laura for pushing him here.
I wish you had understood politics better. A president who has been causing chaos ever since he put foot in the office, you tend to play by it?
Come on, is common sense not that common anymore?

he has been causing a havoc in Canada since day 1, he knows his statement will create rifts between both party supporters and that’s exactly why he said it. If his words are already being taken so seriously without using your own damn brain, then clearly you are being fooled.
