It's astonishing to realize that, of the 340 million U.S. citizens, the greatest superpower on Earth managed to pick two candidates unfit for the presidency: one a scoundrel, the other addled. How is it possible that they don't have, in their political system, two good, experienced candidates that can successfully and responsibly lead the entire Western World?
A person can worry to death upon realizing that the person in charge of the nuclear red button will be either a frivolous, irresponsible, pathologically lying scoundrel, or a man overwhelmed by age – weak, fragile and stuttering.
During their first debate last week, the scoundrel won. Donald Trump lied endlessly and made up facts, but in this new world we are living in, the truth means nothing. You can make up an alternative, fictional world, and come out the winner. Trump lied about abortions, lied about the size of the deficit, lied about China and Iran, and kept claiming that the 2020 elections were fixed and that he was the real winner.

Biden, in contrast, is an honest, well-meaning person. He told the truth, but looked tired. He got confused, stuttered, coughed, spoke slowly and hoarsely, and occasionally found it hard to complete his sentences. When asked after the debate whether it was difficult for him, he said, "No, but it's hard to debate a liar." And that's true, especially when this liar is also a certified scoundrel.
It's hard for a normal person to defeat a scoundrel. It's hard to withstand the deluge of lies, which is also exactly the secret of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's power. He, too, is a scoundrel. He, too, acts against democracy, incites against the media, the courts, academia and the left. It takes a scoundrel to know a scoundrel. This is why Netanyahu is rooting for Trump. The problem is that Trump is the bigger scoundrel and an unexpected, psychopathic person, who will one day push Netanyahu and Israel under the bus without blinking an eye.

Like Trump, Bibi has no problem flip-flopping. Before the 2009 election he said: "We will bring down Hamas' reign of terror." But when elected prime minister, he did the exact opposite. He strengthened Hamas and made sure to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars to that murderous terrorist organization, who then used them to dig tunnels and acquire weapons for use against us.
Last week, he asked to postpone his testimony in his trial until March 2025, claiming he has a war to manage, but on May 2020 he claimed he could fully function as prime minister, even while his trial was taking place, and the High Court of Justice (11 justices, unanimously) regretfully accepted it – a historic mistake.
Last week, the national committee of inquiry into the submarines purchase delivered a severe cautionary letter to Netanyahu, in which it wrote that he "endangered national security and harmed Israel's foreign relations and economic interests." This is such a harsh accusation, so unprecedented, that it requires an immediate resignation.
The time has also come to investigate and ascertain several alleged suspicions: Why did Netanyahu push to make the deal with German ThyssenKrupp, and why did he say that Israel would not object to ThyssenKrupp selling advanced submarines to Egypt, a move he kept hidden from the defense minister and the chief of staff? Why did he buy stock in his cousin Nathan Milikowsky's company, that provided steel plates to ThyssenKrupp, and how did he sell this stock at an unreasonable, 13 million ($3.4 million) shekels profit?
Netanyahu did not go home after the Carmel disaster. He was not dismissed after the Meron catastrophe nor after the cautionary letter in the submarines affair. So why would he go home for his responsibility in the greatest catastrophe, October 7? Scoundrels like him and Trump never resign, never take responsibility. These people lie endlessly, and it's very hard to defeat them in a televised debate and in a real election.
He was willing to use emergency executive orders to send more 2000 lb bombs to Gaza but won't use it to stop the supreme court from ending democracy or do anything for americans.
He had all the real presses passes pulled and surrounded himself with a bunch of ass lickers from fox entertainment
Maybe exactly like the gop lie all along that Trump is not a total fraud? Who's past cabinet or advisor are all in jail?
The problem is that MAGA are just as incoherent as rump, they don't even notice he's a rambling bullshitter who endlessly repeats the same stories.
Its only when you get close to him you notice the waft.
I wouldn't argue with Trump...easy to highlight the GOP lies, fraud etc etc...but the smugness of the left despite the lies exposed out in the open....isn't it beautiful when "whataboutism" works both ways?

Fun fact #2 : Trump lost the debate - Biden answered the questions while Trump ranted off topic the whole time spreading lies. Biden seemed less confident and looked lost at times but if this was a Hugh school debate team Trump would have gotten an f, while Biden aouls have received a D. Trump only looked better on delivery which was still poor but not as bad
We live in a society of stupid people—especially Americans.
What I dislike the most about the debate what that the moderators present did no do shit about all the lies that were being said. And or for example why not shot them off when they started talking about golf. We all know Biden is lousy at golf and Trump is a notorius cheater (like 80% of golfer I must say). Men they should have shut them off. The debate was a joke.
Can you imagine if they sounded a buzzer every time Trump lied ? Now that would be worth watching
Trump has been geeting a pass all his life. Trump is never accountable for anything. He is the King. The future dictator. Everything against him is a conspiracy or a witch hunt.
Trump is a sick psycho that will bring the US way down (as if they are not in a current free fall...).
Biden's handlers and the 90% left-wing press have known about his "condition" for years. We, the public, did too. Going back to 2020, the pandemic was a gift to many of his advisers in that they had an excuse to keep Biden hidden, running his campaign from his basement. Using teleprompters every time he had to open his mouth lol! No press conferences. Softball questions from the press "what's your favourite ice cream".
We all knew this.

So even though the press can no longer hide it, the senior strategists (and family) will never give in to the truth - that is Biden's obvious signs of dementia, and that he's on a fast downward spiral. I am really starting to feel sorry for the guy, especially after seeing how frazzled he looked at the debate, that haunted terrified look in his eyes reminded me of a family member who had dementia/Alzheimers. He's being propped up and dragged around like "Weekend at Bernie's.

That's not true. You know it. He scrummed all the time. And yes he loved to get into it. But he did face them, take tough questions.
All Biden needs to do is one hour, unscripted, at night, in front of a mixed crowd of Journalists. And it all goes away.
Could anybody make it past ten minutes who is so emotionally invested?

Instead they're going to do a taped daytime interview and scripted questions that are soft balls lobbed right down the middle... George Stephanopoulos is hand picked by his team.
The double downing on the spin of him just having a bad night, suffering from jet lag and a cold to explain his debate performance will continue.
Nobody with a sense of reality will buy any of it...
