(The U.S. has more than enough for its own consumption.) If every time a Democratic Administration takes power and the bureaucracy uses these tactics, it discourages the large, long-term investments needed in energy production and distribution.
This is what Biden said about the pause. “This pause on new LNG approvals sees the climate crisis for what it is: the existential threat of our time..”
So the man is telling you himself that the pause and reviews are not intended to be benign process policies, but rather a direct effort to discourage U.S. LNG exports.
The current contracts are being honored.
It's the new ones being stopped.

It's very simple. Listen to what Biden tells you about liquid natural gas and how it relates to climate.
