Basically the argument here is Trump artificially adjusted the value of his properties based on who he was dealing with. Tax officials, they cut the value by a lot to avoid paying taxes. To banks and other lenders, they inflated the value to get better deals on financing, or just access to the money. In both situations, that is fraudulent activity. Trump and his lawyers are saying that there was no material harm, because the banks made money off of the loans.

However, if things went the way of Trump Steaks or University, those financial institutions would have taken a big haircut....

Last week, the judge basically ruled that Trump Inc. was a fraudulent organization, so Trump is fighting for his business life in this case, not his freedom, which will bite him in the ass over the next year...

Almost as fun as having Barr and Pence called as witnesses, which is happening at another rump trial.
Oh, and rump is going to take the stand himself!

You should also add "Trump presidency", "Trump 2020 election loss" and "Trump insurrection and coup d'état" to Trump's long list of turkeys, 360 degree haymakers, pies-in-own-face and laying an egg enterprises.

Question: Is the point (or strategy) to perpetually keep Trump in court over allegations, charges, indictments, etc to distract public opinion so that he doesn't get elected again?

Does anyone have a list of all of these charges over the past 7+ years and if any have lead to convictions?

By my count, two impeachments were cleared.

Anything else?

Yes, that's definitely the Dems strategy. The Dems know that Trump will defeat Biden, in a fair fight. That's why the Dems keep indicting Trump continuously, over dumb cases!!

WATCH: Judge Arthur Engoron, the judge in President Trump’s “civil fraud trial” was smiling and posing for the cameras in court today while President Trump was sitting in the court room. This is wildly inappropriate and proves the bias of the judge, and the fact that this is a WITCH HUNT.

Every time Donnie goes to court he loses. The only thing I think he won was for hoe bag stormy daniels to pay his legal fees after he paid her with campaign funds to keep quiet

Can you list the convictions? Surely with all the charges and allegations over the past several years there must have been a few right? What were they?

let alone the obvious: do you really need a guy to be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt not to vote for him? or is a finding that he is a piece of shit on a balance of probabilities (also known as preponderance of evidence) sufficient?
