First, nobody knows who photoshopped Trump onto Rocky... But it sure as fuck wasn't a Hong Kong protester. The pic didn't show up there until the day after Trump tweeted it.

Second, nobody in Hong Kong believed Trump was the leader of the free world. What did he do to make ANYONE thing that? His phoney trade wars did nothing to help Americans, and didn't hurt China. He never spoke in favor of the protestors. Maybe they were hoping if they appealed to his fragile ego he would help...but nothing happened...

Basically, you're trying to create an alternate t history that makes literally no sense.

But the folks there in HK indeed looked to Trump for hopes of their liberation.
