Canada has The Repayment Assistance Plan in place. All the students who find it more difficult to keep up with their loans, can apply for it!!

Much better than what the USA did for their students with loans on their backs!!

You definitely are going to get it if you qualify for it just like EI. It is better than what Trump is espousing as all his bill is doing is deferring payments until this Covid-19 pandemic ends. Then they have to start paying the interest / payments like they did before the start of the crisis.

The Canadian government already heavily subsidies a university degree. My 4 years worth of student debt in Canada would not pay for 1 year at a US university.
